I guess I'm just a spoiled brat from A+ juice vaping. I have tried all the premium flavors from Inawera to The Flavor Apprentice and none taste anything close to premium. Then there is the problem of nicotine oxidation. Storing a large bottle of nicotine has that problem because every time you open it it adds oxygen to it. I know there are ways around it but I'm too lazy for that. I'm sure if Ahlusion keeps selling after the FDA gets done with everyone, my juice will skyrocket to over $30 a 30ml. I'll buy it none the less though if still available online. If not, Mr Mann and I will have to strike a deal on bootleg!
Yeah, that problem with nicotine is why I store mine in 30ml glass bottles; I have 8 bottles in the freezer, and 2 in the fridge that I use out of (different PG/VG proportions). Since I only vape about 10mg, I knew this would be a big problem for me, it doesn't take much 100mg nicotine to mix up to make 10mg! So I got the 30ml bottles as soon as I started the nicotine stockpiling. Nice thing is, small bottles don't cost much, and they're much easier to store -- and, if my clumsiness gene kicks in and I manage to spill it (so far I haven't! yay!), then I only have a small mess to clean up of high-mg nicotine, instead of something requiring a hazmat suit.
Premium juices probably are premium because they're not single-flavor mixes, but a combination of main flavor + accent notes of other flavors (kinda like cooking!), but when starting DIY, it's best to start with single-flavor -- the first Virginia I got, from FlavourArt, was HORRIBLE, no amount of "accent notes" would save that -- but when I got a different brand, I found that not all Virginia flavors are created equal. What I've done is mix up a few single-flavor mixes of the various flavors that make up the "Virginia" I like -- the main tobacco flavor, plus a little tart apple and an even smaller trace of cinnamon redhot, then mix those; it worked pretty well, though I'm still trying to find a tart apple, more of a cider flavor really, that works best; most apple flavors are too sweet.
