So I'm using a juice that is pretty sticky. So sticky that when I squeeze the dropper to create suction I have to actually wait like 3 seconds before the air escapes the tube and longer for it to fill with juice.

So when I'm vaping this, the vape seems to be a bit on the weak side and I think its because of the wicking. could anyone advise me on how to wick my coils? (ex. more/less constricted inside, more/less in juice well)

The setup inside my RDA is dual 24g coils with an internal diameter of ~2mm with resistance ~0.2 ohms. Wicked very lightly constricted and just long enough to make a full contact with the juice well on both sides.

Go to a larger inside diameter on the coil or try a tiny bit LESS cotton.
Could always BOIL the water, in a pan with the lid on. Take the condensated water from the lid and drop a few drops of that into your juice.. It's not perfectly distilled, but it will have the chlorine and stuff removed.

Before I bought a gallon of it I made my own since I just needed a small amount. I thoroughly cleaned a stainless steel pot with a glass lid. Added some water and brought it to a boil. As the steam condensed on the lid I would lift it off and quickly turned it upside down. I used a syringe to draw up the liquid. I kept doing that until I had about 10 mls. A bit of work but worked for me in a pinch.

Larger diameter coils would help. I make mine 3mm inner diameter just because they are easier to wick.

Instead of distilled water, you could dilute your eliquid with plain unflavored Pg (polypropeline). You can buy this from several different eliquid manufacturers like Wizzard Labs. I've read you can also purchase it at tractor supply stores in the vet center department.

Mattie, you bootlegger! :)

Although I really don't worry much about which water I use (tap is very good here, but even a bottle of Poland Springs is not hard to come by, nor expensive).

Easier method, though:

Turn the glass lid upside-down on the pot. Put water in the pot, and a bowl in the middle of the pot.
Put the lid on upside-down, and fill the top of the lid with ice. Bring to a slow boil.

The water will evaporate, hit the cold lid, drip down to the center, and drop into the bowl.

(Works even better with a metal lid, unscrew the lid handle and replace it with a screw pointing down...)

If I ever run out and need it I will try this. definitely easier than the way I did it :D

Ya, bigger coils with less cotton. You might want to try a spaced coil set up. Wicking for VG heavy juice is a real back and forth effort. Too much is usually too much, there is hardly any tension in my wick for VG heavy juice, i have to let it swell with juice to know its in right. These are 3mm.

And I never expect it to dry out the way wicking for PG will do, it will hold the juice much harder, and of course has to be changed out regularly.

But man is it thick and juicy. :?)
