I've been very happy with the Pyrex VN clearomizers so far, but I've had a strange problem with them. I'm using them on a Vamo at 8W with a 2.4 ohm atomizer.

They'll be vaping fine, when all of a sudden I get a horrific burnt flavor. I let it sit for a while and it went away, and it was fine for a few more hours. Then it happened again and I looked at the resistance. It was originally at 2.4-2.5, it dropped to 1.9?!? The resistance on the coil seems to magically change from 2.5 to 1.9 ohms in one vape? That's when it gives the burnt taste. So, I put it aside for a few hours and it was back to normal. I figured the head was just flaky, so I replaced it, and sure enough, the new one was doing the same thing again after 3-4 days of use, the head resistance somehow dropped to 1.7-2.0 ohms after a few hours of use.

At this point, I pulled out my kanthal wire and wicks, rebuilt the coil and felt confident that I wouldn't have this problem again. Resistance was 2.5 ohms after the rebuild, it vaped great for a few days, then yet again, the exact same problem!?!??!?!

Any help would be appreciated, as I love being able to use Pyrex for citrus/cinnamon juices instead of that crap polycarbonate plastic...
