Wierd taste from atomizer

I just got this LR 510 atty yesterday, and the second day it has a weird burning flavor it.

I do drip, and i did some research and i did take out the wick..

I also checked the coils in the atty, and they seem fine. I cleaned it about 3-4 times using hot water, and dry burning it. I am still getting the same burning flavor after the second drag.

Are ya running it real wet like 6-8 drops in it to prime it and constantly keeping it soaked ?

Yeah i usually do 4 drops everytime i vape it, and i do prime it. Its still tasting horrible..

I've heard theories that some atties are just bad tasting, and others aren't. If there's any truth to that, then you might have just gotten a bad tasting atty.

If that is true, i will have to buy a new one. The taste is disgusting

I too had this issue with my first (and only) LR 510 atty. Even after soaking it in vodka and boiling it, it still had a weird burnt taste. I figured maybe LR wasn't for me, and tossed it into my 'emergency' box.

Basically you burned the flavors into the coil. Nothing you can do about it. You just need to get a new one. You have to keep LR attys wet at all times

From a lot of testing that we have done if you let it run dry even once it will have that bad burned taste for the life of the atty. Try a new one.
