Ready to upgrade

I got my Joye 510 from Cignot 2 weeks ago and the wife is now ready to join in so I get to upgrade and she's taking the 510.

I'm looking for help deciding what to get as my upgrade.

Joye 510 Likes:
- Small
- Manual battery

Joye 510 dislikes:
- Vapor Production is not even
- small leak between cartridge and atomizer
- I'd like more flavor and a bit more vapor than the 510 gives me.
- no lock on the button for pocket carrying.

Overall vaping complaints:
I'm lazy I'll admit, I don't want to drip every time I go outside for a smoke break so I need a system that I only need to fill a few times a day or less. I don't want to be buying parts all the time that can't be reused. I don't want to keep putting things in the landfills if I can help it. So cartridges seem to be my best choice. But maybe I just haven't read enough about other solutions.

So with all of this in mind, I've had my eyes on the Reo Mini and the Riva 510. Looking for suggestions before my next order. It's good a Reo Mini hasn't gone on sale in the Classifieds section because I probably would have bought it already without getting peoples help first :)

Red sky mods is running a sale. I literally just bought one of their VV bottom feeders. Number 4 at the bottom of this page is mine! Couldn't pass it up for the price. It and the batteries are on the way. I'm really looking forward to it.

You might want to look at snatching one of those up. Even if you don't want to kick the voltage up and I don't very much. The regulated VV will keep the vape consistent.

Small size, easy to use, no muss, no fuss, the REO Mini would be an amazing upgrade, and enable you to skip the Riva/eGo/messy tank step. Come on by the REO forum and say "hi" Reos Mods New Minis will be available 5/26 at 7:00

The best thing about the REO's are they are mechanical. No wires at all. They are very sturdy, enough to take to work and not be afraid you might drop and break it. There are a couple of Grands in the classys right now. You mentioned a Mini, I know, but the Grand is really not all that big. The body is the size of a credit card. Plus with the Grand you get the longer lasting battery and bigger juice bottle. The customer service is great and the REO family will always be there for any and all questions. Rob has a sale coming up on both Mini and Grand on 5/26 at 7 p.m. on the Reosmods site. When he lists them for sale they are ready to be packaged and ship out quick.

Make an offer on the black/polished Reo Grand that is currently in the classifieds. I wouldn't choose the batteries/charger included, so maybe he'll cut you a deal on the Reo itself. The Grand is not much bigger than the mini. You'll use more "pocket space" with a mini carrying spare batteries than you would with a Grand (whose battery will last all day).

You'll eventually buy one, so save some $'s and do it now. Good choice on the Reo.

If I go with the grand or mini, what atomizer is the best? Also, what's the best place to get batteries/charger? Anyone notice any leaking issues with the reo?

Personally, I like the Cisco atomizers, 1.5 ohm, 1.8 ohm, or 2.0 ohm depending on what juice you're vaping. The 510's are easiest to deal with, I like the 306's, but they take some time to get used to. Some people use Boge 2ohm cartos and really enjoy them. No leaking ever. This thread will tell you most of what you want to know: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...if-reo-your-first-mod-what-you-will-need.html

Last time my wife wanted to join in and said I could upgrade it was a really wild weekend and - oh wait, your talking about e-cigs.

Nevermind.

Myself I have a Riva SE with a 510 connection . I don't know how that compares to the Joyce 510 but this thing has a 750 mah battery (came with two of em) and as long as it's clean, the vape seems consistent and I can get big clouds.. Er.. the vape is consistent depending on the juice i'm vaping.. some juice is higher or lower in VG so the clouds will be effected by this. I also notice light or clear liquids produce a thicker whiter vapor while the darker ones do not - I think the whiter the vape the thicker it looks. However I know what you mean.. I'm about to try a 5v mod myself. Reason being is more flavor, more bigger clouds.

If ya don't want a lot of disposable stuff, you can buy a rebuild-able atomizer. I haven't tried one of these yet either, just read about em. they seem cool though. Supposed to save you lots of $$$ and I understand they hit very well.

You mention the REO mini but that's still 3.7 volts just like the Joyce is it not? That's why I wanna go up to higher voltage.. I figure no matter what mod it is, a 3.7 is always gonna deliver what a 3.7 does, and not much more. I wanna see a Big change so I'm thinking the 5v would be better for this.

Just make sure you have tried 5v with an inexpensive mod before you lay out big dollars.

Some people don't like higher voltage, and if you are one of them, best to try first.

Been using my Reo Grand for a few days now. I love the fact that I don't have to constantly fill cartridges and the batteries last me 1-2days. The mod is super clean and very well made.

Dislikes: 6v vaping - not a fan of the warmer vapor. Size, the grand is just a little to big for my liking and I don't vape much more than about 1-2ml a day so I think the 3ml bottle size on the reo would be a better fit.

Sill hunting for that all day juice though, time to branch out and away from FSUSA. I've got 15 cartos on their way but I want to pick up a few more atomizers as well as the wife is using the Joye 510 as well.
