I must plead for for time, I really can't get anything done during my work week.
I will work on some made out of maple on wednesday, and see how much I can get done.
I ruined all of the units with the slot instead of the dovetail, oh well the slot was going to add
about 8mm minimum anyway....way too thick.

I am absolutely on the watch list.

I am in the market for some new wood mods with style that are not bottom feeders, and all I can find are square boxes that just don't say "Take me home."

The grip style is just so much more comfy. The switch tucked into the finger grooves, I love it. The rounded edges make these look so sleek.

The pics of the mahogany 14500 and 14650 dripper/non-bottom feeders BOTH would definitely make my shopping list. And bigger battery size, vv, no bottom feed, yep, would be an absolute for my list.

Thanks for sharing your talents with us, Alekos. What I see in the pics -- stunning !!!

Finally done with the first 3 DIYers. Maple no holes drilled so that they can be configured how ever you want them.
Magnets top and bottom in the doors. One coat of clear poly applied to protect wood during build.
Holes can be drilled at request.

Alek, that is GORGEOUS !!!

I must be strange, because I don't like bottom feeders. But, I do love vv.

Is that an 18650? I look for sealed mods that use 18500, down to 14500, and I try to steer clear of 16340.

But I just had to say -- WOWZA !! -- drooling -- over that lacewood. So pretty. Can't wait to see it oiled up.

I am absolutely watching, and watching, and watching, for everything you post pics of.

And thank you for posting all sides/angles when you take the pics. Buying sight unseen is something I never do, and you eliminated that problem right away for me.

For my personal use I am really starting to lean toward drippers.
I will be applying tung oil tomorrow, so the grain should show up better.
This will just be a 18650 bottom feeder, I am getting some assistance with VV from Quigsworth,
(whose mods are out of this world). Can't let any out the door until I get it mastered.
I will work on the size and wiring configuration.
Will also start working on some 14500 and 14650 mods. 14650 batteries haven't really
seemed to get popular yet.

Ok, ok,
I take the lack of response to mean the DIY crowd isn't interested.
I will make some 18650 bottom feeders and start working on VV.
Does everybody want bottom feeders or sealed connectors? (with VV units)
Playing with a piece of lacewood today, hard stuff!!

No no, I want to diy.... Just gotta get some moneys first lol

I have a Precise Plus 18650 for dripping but only a cheap commercial bottom feeder and no VV at all. Getting a sexy VV bottom feeder from you will keep me happy on the harware end of things for a long time. I am perfectly willing to wait until you are confident in the product though.

As far as the button I would love a large brass or stainless button, but if thats not possible any good quality button is fine.

Brass and wood just belong togther.
