Love your work! If you should happen to make a version that uses a Kicked 18490 or 18650 and has a recessed tank well I'd be all over it in a flash! I'll keep my eye on this thread

That's what I'm looking for Andy, but is the recessed hole wide enough for a tank? I tried those Visions but they didn't work well for me.

make a box that looks IDENTICAL Internally.........
I didn't say I invented this style box mod but I DID give you the idea.
So yea I think I do deserve some credit for giving you the idea.

I try to practice only putting out good vibes to people every day and today is no different.
That said, because you're asking for opinions, I'll gladly share mine with you. Alex has been using these shapes on his mods since well before yesterday. The idea to recess a tank into a mod was something mfraz23 asked for weeks ago in this very thread. At the beginning of this week, I contacted Alex and asked for a recessed tank design and emailed him a layout I did to give him a better idea of what I wanted so he would be able to make it to my liking.
I don't see exactly what it is that you want credit for.
As far as I'm concerned, he's the one with the tools, the time, the skill, and the knowledge to shape and wire these mods to be useful and attractive at the same time. If anyone deserves credit, it's him. I'm definitely not trying to be argumentative here, and I normally stay out of this type of thing but I genuinely don't understand what you're expecting.
But the OD on the tanks is 3/4" and you need a bit of breathing room so the hole would need to be 7/8". Hopefully it is that. As far as Kokomjo's question.......who cares!
Yeah, the tubing diameter is 5/8". I asked for an extra couple millimeters in the hole diameter to allow for some wiggle room. I think the final measurement we were looking at was right at 7/8".

Kokamojo, I used the exact box and materials that I offered you to frame that box. The idea of recessing the tank into one of my boxes is not new, and was not done due to my feeling that the tanks would make the mod too big for comfort.
The only part of your sketch that was new is not running the batts stacked. I offered you that box and all the materials to make the mod for $30. You declined the offer.

I've seen it done very similarly by b-rad the mad vaper so no, youre not the first to have that idere. I hate it when I come up with an idea thats so sweet and turns out its been done before! :\ and so is life!
$30 is very good for handcrafted box mod frame. I actually have a 3d sketch I'd like made up, if at all possible alekos
