Stabilized the wood, and shaped, coat 1 of tung oil.

No where near ready yet. But hopefully the crazy grain shows in pics.

Oh wow! Love that grain! When I gets all shiney it will be something!! Is it just me or does the knot look like a sideways butterfly?? I think I just named it.

Oh, just a "by-the-way" all the 18650s will run the 5volt nimh batts.

LaceDolphin, This is Myrtle wood, only problem with it, is that you have to dance pretty close to disaster to get the cool grain.
That is not a knot, it is a wound which weakened the wood, but created the wild grain as the tree healed itself. Squonk hole will be in the door itself. Will run 18650s, or 5v nimh, or high drain 18500 with "Kick" module. Enough choices for you? I will put on a real short dripcup in case you want to play with a tank or the "new vision" from (myPVshop.com) which I am clouding up the house with right now. Randall will have them in his site on a couple of weeks.

Oh for whoever it was that asked for 18500 and 18350 drippers, I am working on a couple now out of a dark Purpleheart.
Nabbed the last of the Bocote in the area as well as a little bit of Bloodwood, and some Birdseye Maple with a unique grain pattern.

If I look cross at a tank it leaks! Lol my try that new vision though. Thank you so much! The whole wounded but grew back thing makes me love it even more for personal reasons. Just to keep you all updated, James at KK got my 2 Wildman wood boxes. I feel really fortunate to have gotten them to him in time because he has made his announcement to close up shop. He says that the boxes are really lovely, I've only seen pictures.

They is one lacewood and one bocote. He is making me dual 18650 VV mods. Can't wait.

The new tanks from madvapes and myPVshop have a flange on the bottom
to prevent movement. Plus they are cheap, the madvapes are about$11
I have one on order. And I will be torture testiing the Vison from myPVshop
for a while yet. I am leaving it on it's side all the time. No leaking yet.

He got them a few days after you sent them. I just figured I'd post here about them today to remind myself that they are real, LOL. ...just wanted to talk about them...'cuz they're gonna be awesome... He is stopping mod making because of too much going on with school, family, etc...

I guess I'll have the only 2 Wildman/Krimson Kustom collaberative mods.

This guy has too many different fantastic looking pieces, it's so hard to decide on a wood style but after looking through all the pictures I'm hoping for bocote on my little project

I don't look for the feds to do anything to modders. I don't see how they can. They will go after juice and atty/cartos...basically anything imported into the country. Even then, I don't think they will stop it, just tax the heck out of it. I've been hitting sales from HC for all my hardware stuff. Easter will be another day of crazy sales going on.

Walnut didn't show today...darn it!...but I have patience...LOL. My myrtle wood hasn't left my hand since I got it yesterday. I'm really enjoying this mod. Very, very nice feel to it and surprisingly lightweight which really shocked me....not that that is a bad thing. I have nerve damage in my hands.

Well, I just ordered 500 Boge cartos from Bogetech, so that'll keep me for a good long time, check. Tanks, check. Battery coop, check. Tons of stuff to diy, check. Plenty of VV mods to choose from, check. I'm ready for the zombie apocolypse.

How much for the 18350 dripper. I know I'm down for a Walnut 18650 and still want that ordered batteries this week. But it just might need a sister to go with it. Just so you know I'm not the one who requested it. One other question..could you do a 14500 dripper in the Purple Heart?
