will an ipad car charger be okay?

Friend had a USB car charger for an ipad in her car and my ego battery was starting to run low, but written on the side of it it said:

Output 5.1V DC 2.1 A

I didnt want to use it because I remember my usb DC plug at home was 5v 500 mah. In case Im ever in the same position again...is it okay to use that??

Well I can say the .1 is a bit odd to me, but other than that it's ok to use to charge your ego.

Because you responded specifically with okay for eGo I guess I should have been more broad in my question. Is it okay to use on any in case I get some other hardware? 510 regular or mega, KR808 regular or mega etc...

In other words, is the output on that NOT okay for anything? I jump around with a little spring case that carries a 180 mah 510 battery sometimes too and love trying new stuff

Well I would assume so I use my 2A usb wall wart to charge all of my gear.
