Will anyone get the PCC right?

Looking the the various PCC's (Personal Charging Cases) out there, and they all seem to hold 1 battery and 1 atty. To me, I would think a PCC should hold 2 batteries, so that you can get your whole setup in the case for when you go out. I really want one, but I am trying to get away from having a loose cig in my pocket. If they held 2 batteries or even 1 full e-cig and an a charging battery, I would think they would be about perfect...

That's been my only complaint about the PCC too. I'm sure it's a case where the designer was not a user and didn't bother to consult any users for opinions before going into production. If they made it 1/2" wider there would have been space for an assembled 510 to fit in there. I've taken it apart and the way it is now there is no way to modify it to fit an assembled one in there. I've been trying to come up with a clean looking way to attach one to the side some how.

Same here. I have been mulling over creating a case that would just fit the PCC and have room on the side for an assembled cig and maybe a small vial of juice.

You know, this never occurred to me, but you are dead on. The current PCCs sort of assume that you are already puffing on one and need a way to carry a backup. It would be awesome to have a PCC that functioned as a true carrying case as well and held a fully assembled e-cig as well as the extra carts and batteries. Right now, I always have both a PCC and a carrying case. Good call.

Yeah, maybe one of the suppliers out there will see this and speak with their manufacturers, at least we can hope! An additional holder on the side would be an improvement. ****, we got people here on the forum smart enough to make it happen!

One battery gets me through the work day. Carrying a spare isn't a big deal.

I had seen a video that the PCC for the 510 will not fit a manual battery without a pretty serious user mod... is this true???

All the newer PCC's ( I bought mine a month ago) fit manual batteries.

One battery gets me through the work day. Carrying a spare isn't a big deal.

I can respect that, but for some of us it is a big deal and would like to have the extra room to carry a complete e-cig. I am tired of carrying around a big ol case to fit everything and would like to keep everything together, as to not lose any of these expensive parts. But thank you for your input

Carrying a PCC and a spare battery is just the same as having a pack of smokes and a lighter in my pocket.

Yeah, I guess I can't really say until I buy one... Good point. I am wondering if you assemble it and put it back in the charger each time you are finished?

Yeah. You get strange looks during smoke breaks while you assemble your space cigarette out of your metal case.

But the PCC still rocks.

After I got mine I found the thing ill conceived. Instead of screwing the battery in place, the charging circuit is commenced when the lid is closed, and if you leave the battery in place the PCC battery is drained for no effective purpose. Far too much wasted space internally, and the lid pivot pin is loose to work itself out.
Wish I knew about the lax engineering before I committed.
There was no suitable review of the item when I got it, and if I had known then what I do now, I would have spent the money differently.
By the way, it is the 510 model that accommodates the manual battery.

I realize you can't order just this from China and justify shipping, but I've seen one somewhere else (in the states), but it costs more. Anyway, I have one of these, and it's great. It has a clip like an ink pen that could be attached to the PCC (you know, some dumb way like with a thick piece of elastic or something) and make things a bit handier. It's not too bad carrying the PCC and this thin case also. I know what you're saying, though.

I think the idea is that you vape and then dis-assemble your PV and put it back in the case, such that it's always topped off with elastic trickery juice. L-ion batteries can handle this with ease (unlike ni-cads).

I'm now looking at three PCCs - one for the 510, one for the 901 and one for the 084 - each is designed along the same lines (although the 901 and 084 are both screw-in units) and each works in a broadly similar way when it comes to what it holds. However, the 901 and 084 jobs both allow you to unscrew the battery and thus prevent any further charging (there's a microswitch under the +ve pole) so the back-charge drain thing that the 510 PCC exhibits cannot occur.

Either way, the PCC is a very good idea.

This would be great for my husband. He is a foreman for a company that builds houses & commercial buildings. He is afraid to take his pv to work for fear of ruining it. This he could slide right into a slot in his tool bags.

will hold a 510 PCC along with an assembled 510, some spare carts, batts, etc. with ease as long as you don't have a 30ml bottle of liquid in it. The Widow carries them as well. I just carry a 6ml bottle in it and it actually fits easily in the back pocket of my jeans.

Wouldn't sit on it though. 8-o

I think that is why the Blu has been so popular. Although it has gotten some bad reviews, the charging case is awesome.

Just curious....why do you need a fully assembled PV if changing the battery is as easy as it is on a 510? If they made the case fit another fully assembled 510, it'd have to be bigger. Just wondering, because the 510 PCC holds 3 batteries plus one that's charging.
