I'm lucky in this regard personality-wise. I always loved fishing, but only kept a rod and one of those tackle boxes with 6 compartments.
While I tried a series of PVs (standard 510, kr808, ego-t) and allow myself a new juice each month in the quest for that perfect vape for me, I've pretty much settled on the KR as my PV of choice.
As soon as someone comes up with a high mAh auto kr battery and a tank type system that doesn't start tasting like buttcrack after a couple of days, I'll probably never buy new gear except as replacements. Until those things happen, I'm relatively content with my normal cartos and XL batteries.
I do suspect that I'll be buying a new flavor of juice each month 'til I die.
