..i love the caramel flavor of my(apparently dekang from libertyflights?) juice but every juice i exhale and get that *taste of smoke machine* in my mouth....yno at a nightclub when you get the taste cos its so thick....anyway i knkow i shud b drinking water while smoking etc but will it always have that horrible dry twang to the exhale?or is this simply dekang?i want strongflavoured juices for the mo anyway...

well this is the only thing that has this morning so far made me question if i wantan ecig or an analog....maybe you just get used to it?like the flavor of real cigs?

Yea, Dekang is horrible, try to buy some usa made juice. Nhaler, myfreedomsmokes, rockymountainvapor to name a few

Since the smoke machines use propylene glycol and the e-cigarettes use propylene glycol, yeah, there's a good chance it'll always taste like that. Some liquids are better at masking the taste, or maybe try VG based liquids.

okay im seriously discouraged by my ecig....after only 1 day of ecigs

am about to pick up an analog cos im sick of not knowing which bits not working....when i smoke grape i get no vapor and burntish raw taste after a few puffs regardless of cartidge being full-i like the flavor which is annoying, when i smoke caramel i get loadsa vapor but no decent throat hit and i get that mouthful of smoke machine taste, hate the tobacco taste but this is the only one with vapor/throat hit and even this tastes a little burnt after awhile(even on refilling cart)

batteries are annoying because they say their full after less than an hr...is this normal???and im wondering if they r my problem ???r atomizers???

want to drip on atomizer n try that...what way can i do it without wrecking my auto atomizer/batt?

ive been so positive bout these an ive searched and posted bout everything i thought i would need to know....am following directions but they still taste like crap(and i get the headaches after a only a few puffs of low strength....shud i swap to vg?)

last but not least am annoyed at flavors most of all....can still hardly taste anything....

sorry guys for the rant but im doing everything u say and got my homework n its just not working : o(

What model ecig are you using? Makes all the difference! And VG may get rid of the headaches.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Dekang liquid. I think its great. Being in Ireland, have you thought about checking out Intellicig's Ecopure liquid? You'd think it would be easy to score over there. Its probably the best out there. If you're getting loads of vapor with the caramel, are you sure its not a vg based liquid? The smoke machine taste is sort of weird at first, but you do get used to it. The VG tastes a lot less like this.

will definitely try the vg so...thanks...im using a dse901...n im pretty sure its working properly....nope the caramel seems to be pg too???and its actually only 8mg wheras the rest ar 18mg

do u think the atomizer im using the grape with is gone?almost no vapor with that one?

The vapor can drop off if the atomizer is too wet, or too dry... So definitely be aware that either extreme can cause a decline in performance, also lots of my juices vary hugely with the vapor output. One thing you can do to improve vapor is cut your juice with a little glycerine... It thickens it up a lot too, and I find it less prone to leak. Also if you have a regular cigarette, its ok... It took me 3-4 days to stop them completely.

I'm new to this myself. I only have used the KR808D-1 (vapor king from vapor4life) e-cig and so far I love it. It's easy to use being a two piece system. So I don't have to worry about the atomizer as I get a new one built in with every new cart. I've tried about 7 different flavors and they all have a different feel/effect. So far the coffee and cowboy at 24mg are my favorite. The throat hit is strong and the feeling is good. The flavor isn't too bad either, but I think there will always be a slight after taste. More so with some flavors then others. I think it's just a matter of getting used to it. If you don't smoke an analog for a while and take a first drag you'll notice a pretty horrible taste as well.

I mean if you think about it, whether it's analogs or e-cigs we aren't dealing with candy here. Taste isn't exactly the first reason anyone does this stuff.

all very good points.thankyou....this really is a theapy forum!!!would easily have had ten by now had i not been armed with success stories and options(eg. vg) of different liquids/models....

will keep trying....dya think maybe with vaping you need to drink more than usual?

on the plus side ive had a cough for two weeks and first day vaping totally got rid of it...dont think its a coincidence cos i havent been able to get to sleep til 3am for the last week because of cough and lastnight slept like a baby!!!

I have a base recipe that I found works for me that is just VG, distilled water, and Lorann's flavor. Here it is (and it can be adapted to make more or less than what I've written here).

This recipe makes a 3ml sample:
36 drops of VG
18 drops of distilled water (a few less drops if you want a thicker liquid)
6 drops of flavor

Hope that helps you and let us know if it worked for you.

the e-cig may be able to replace the nicotine but what it can't do is replace the thousands of other compounds that occur when you burn tobacco.

some occur naturally as a byproduct of combustion and some are added by cig manufacturers to enhance taste and increase addiction.

you ARE going to detox and it's not fun.

once you figure out some of the tricks that i picked up here (for example blowing out new attys so you don't get that foul packing liquid taste) and once you clear out the the other chemicals that we never tend to think about that are are involved with burning tobacco you will feel a bit better.

I go with johnsons creek smoke juice, i don't know if its really any better than any other brands but it's been my favorite so far in my admittedly short experence with vaping.

btw, try to get a few glasses of water in yourself while you detox and hopefully you will feel a little better in a week or two.

Hi all,

enjoying ecig more today but frustrated with lack of vapor and flavor....bout to go ice skating now n reveal my ecig to my friends!!!

will c how they react but today will be a bit pathetic i think as for some reason no juice i have is producing more than a whisp of vapor on full batts....
drank more juice yday (the apple juice kind...not ejuice!) and today and no headaches : o)

this seems to be turning into a diary thread of my ecigging....haha

gunna get some flavoring n just add it to my existing juices(can i do this?!) for the time being as i dont think its pg related headaches just dehydration!!!

might try the vg tho for increased vaporalness : o)

also think the nic i got is too low at 18mg...not feeling it at all...just want moooooore : o)

Update: My other half just got home having brought one cig with him with no extra juice n no charger to work and his is working PERFECTLY....loadsa vapor n nice taste(grape which produced no vapor 4 me yday)...

why is it on low batt and no new juice his worked for 5-6cigs worth and still going and my 2 ecigs at home i got in same kit arent?r they both useless or is his simple broken in????

It may just be that you have to get used to using your PV.
I had a J118 that i started out with which is similar to a 901 and couldn't get it to consistantly give me good vapor. Then I got a510 and used it for a while.
I got frustrated with having to tweak it to get the perfomance I wanted from it's carts and picked up the 118 again.
Lo and behold the 118 worked fine.
Not realy, it worked the same I just used it differently.
I realized instead of taking a slow steady drag I was trying to draw harder on it to get more vapor like I would have with a tobacco cig.
Once you get used to using it and the atty breaks in you may like it a little more.

charlie had it in one...am a bit of an eejit i was totally trying to smoke a cigarette even tho ive read all about how to smoke ecigs....getting vapor again n a bit more flavor today....coughs totally gone n the only thing annoying me today is the fact that i can never remember which battery is charged/half charged/dead and the big gulp of air noise when i inhale(was in a quiet room with other ppl n it was totally obvious n loud n awkward....)

on the other hand my other half who was skeptical bout ecigs and wasnt even bothered bout giving up cigs took to them like a duck to water....he hasnt read a single thread n is showing ME how to inhale....typical me tho always overthinking things....

on a totally different note got 5 revolutions of a lil spin down on my(figure) skates so giving something up and learning something new!!!(my resolutions r being made early this year!!!)...

I don't know how econiomical the shipping is but I absolutley love the vapor and flavor of NHalers Vanilla Carmel HV liquid. It has become my all day vape and after meals I do the orange dreamcicle HV from him.

I agree with Paranoyed. I just got some of their HV juice today and it tastes wonderful! Compared to the other juices I have tried so far, Nhaler HV liquid tastes far better, longer, and produces great vapor. Although if you are looking for throat hit you might want to look elsewhere, because I feel almost no throat hit with the HV juice.

Maybe I will feel more throat hit once my Silver Bullet comes in the mail.
