I vape Pluid in my Reo. The taste takes awhile to go away but it does go away...just like any strong juice (same with RY4 etc.).

If you're using micro-coils and cotton then changing out the wick will be easy-peasy.

I've run some tank crackers through both my Reos and never had an issue with the O-rings.

So I got Pluid coming (and Scorpion Blood:same same) but only one Reo/RM2 (I know).
I'd still like to vape my usual juices in my beloved Reo.
Is that feasible? Will the flavor ever go away?
What would be the steps to achieve this feat?

I don't think it will actually RUIN my Reo (orings?).
Will it?

It will not harm your REO. But...the o-rings, they will probably swell and retain the flavor and odor..

Your tubing will also absorb some flavor and odor..

The gasket in the connector might retain some flavor and odor..

The bottle might retain some flavor and odor.

As with all very strong flavor juices some people notice flavor and odor retention after using and doing a quick rinse.

You can remove the tubing, bottle and o-ring and soak in PGA to remove the flavor and odor.

It seems best to designate a tube, cap, o-ring, and bottle to the strong flavor.

Those that are sensitive to small amounts of flavor and odor sometimes notice the strong flavor they used after a long while of soaking. It might be that the flavor is absorbed into the connector gasket and even after rinsing some remains.

In other words, be aware of what might happen if you use a very strong flavor.

What Crash said. I've pretty much dedicated my power coated Grand to Pluid and DIY Absinthe. No problems. I like the carryover of Pluid into the first bottle of Absinthe so I don't change the wick. I think this cotton one's been there close to two weeks.

Crash, I miss your old avatar. It was so YOU! :D

lol...blame the mods...they're having a bit o' fun. Woke up this morning and boom...new avatar.

I don't have the flavor retention thing going on at all with Pluid, but it is for a fact going to swell the bottle o-ring to the point where it will buckle.

I haven't done the drill out on the bottle tip as has been suggested yet because I am on a hitch working in the oilfield and don't have access to a drill for the time being. I have done the o-ring at the bottom of the threads, which works for a while and then does not seal well, resulting in a juicy Reo.

I just came up on some Viton o-rings for the little and am going to be testing one out with Pluid tonight and for the next few days in order to see if they can withstand the Pluid without puffing up. I will report back.

I had a strong Absinthe juice on one of my REOs. I guess it also depends on whether the two flavors could mix together, such as fruity flavors or sweet flavors. The absinthe was really strong, the odor was really stuck in there, in the cap, O-ring and tubing. I got one of the 6ml bottles, filled it with pure vodka, put it on the REO and let it sit there (upside down so that it reaches the O-ring) for about 5 minutes. Then squonk as much of the vodka out. Rinse the bottle, fill it with warm water, do the same thing as you did with the vodka. Once that's done, if the juice was really strong, the odor might still be there, but you can bet anything that the actual flavor will come out clean. The absinthe is no more. Not a trace of it remains specially after having another juice sitting there for a while.

I just did another swap. I had Mojito juice, which has menthol, and I swapped it for a Chocolate/Mint sweet flavor. Did a quick warm water only rinse, and good as new. There's one little thing I do when I fear the flavor is so damn strong that it will still blend with my new juice. I add a bit of the new juice in a bottle, screw it on the REO and let it soak the tubing and cap/O-ring. After a few minutes, squonk a bit out. Wash/dispose of the bottle. What I hope to do with that is override the odor/flavor with the new one, and minimize even further the possibility of feeling traces of the previous flavor. Then again I only would do that if I had really strong flavors such as cinammon or menthol.
