I can't post an URL until I have a 15 post count, but it's an eGo batt from Janty USA for $24.99. I am thinking of buying this + the quick charger if it will work with my 510 atty.

After doing a good bit of searching on these forums, I am pretty sure this will not only work but give longer life to my 510 but I want to double check before I decide to order.

The "cone" or "atomizer cover" screws down over the atomizer and tightens up the draw a bit. I find it makes the draw a little more similar to an actual "analog"... (but hey, that's just me) -

I also find that it "warms" up the vapor. It's a much fuller warmer vape and I can taste more of my smoke-juice.

Plus, I think it looks nicer with the cone :)

Ok, I can not order from janty at this time because they are out of stock on both atty's and the cone. Totally Wicked has the Tornado and I am pretty sure from what I've read that this is the same thing. I have two more questions.

1. Will the Tornado charge with the eGo usb quick charger?
2. Is the $15.00 janty atty worth it? I see it has a 6 month warranty so maybe it is but always safer to ask people in the know.

TW has a quick charger as well. If you want "build your own" by getting the parts, TW also has an adapter to allow you to use your existing 510 charger but it takes about 5 hours to charge. As for the Janty atty, good question? I've only been vaping for just over 2 months and have been using the same 510 atty with no probs.

Dudeman got you covered on the charger. As for the atty, it seems a little pricey to me but it depends how quickly you're running through them now. I've only been vaping a month so I am not qualified to say much about longevity, really, but my take is new = less learned = more problems. So the Janty warranty may be worth it if the price difference vs. TW isn't so great. At the same time you can get 510 atties in bulk for pretty cheap - but check out the burnt taste thread, seems like there are some manufacturing hiccups currently. Huh, so reading that back it's a bunch of what-ifs with no conclusion: I say go for the atty since it's got a 6 month warranty as long as you're getting other stuff to dilute the shipping cost...and then you've effectively got a working atty for $2.50 per month. Happy vaping!

What's funny is my first 510 is supposed to deliver sometime today and I'm already thinking of how to upgrade/extend battery life. I'm seriously looking at the Bartleby as well but I think I need to just back off, chill a little, and do some more research.

Bartleby vs. eGo/Tornado battery is where I'm at in my cycle. I did try a 510 that a guy had at work along with another person's blu which decided me on the 510, it's just that the short battery life stories have me a little worried.

I appreciate all the replies.

Hmm...the Bartleby doesn't look like much (long as I'm looking a the right thing - pre-emptive  if not) - in the sense that you could easily build a NicoStick like that yourself.

The TorneGo on the other hand, looks pretty sweet The battery is ~650mAh which is great - lasts me almost the entire day, 2 of these and you're good to go. Or one with a PT when you're at home. Did I mention it looks sweet? The cone also makes a difference, a warmer vapor and better feeling drag - I really really like this thing. I've seen a few threads about issues with bad product being sent out from TW so if you can spring for it, I might go with Janty if I were you because of the warranty. Or you can take your chances like I did, worked out just fine for me so far.

So, I guess I'm kinda more into looks than might be the norm but that's my $.02. Cheers!

I thought the NicoStick was basically the same thing, but the Bartleby has the ability to work as a passthrough while charging which seems pretty cool since I work at a desk all day.

If I could build a NicoStick with usb charging and passthrough I would be all over that. That one is beyond me though, so I think I am going to eventually end up going with eGo/Tornado batts and a quick charger.

Someone in the original Bartleby thread said the charging chip that Jay makes, I believe, is worth the price of the mod - $50. You can likely build a Nicostick (thanks to Nicowolf) for $25-30 if you don't screw up ;-) but no charger. Not sure if all Nicosticks have the on/off switch either.... The other thing - which is also true of the Nicostick with the same 14500 battery is that you get peak voltage which puts out the vapor, and imo, also keeps the atty cleaned. I rarely clean attys any more. And I've never lost one on a 3.7v device going on 9 months. Burn up 2 on a 5V bart.

The box mod style isn't for everyone. I happen to like the way it fits in my hand which completely covers it - stealthy - until you unleash the vapor ;-)

Even if you end up getting a Tornado, which I also like a lot, you'll never regret getting a Bartleby just for when you want that top vapor hit. And the 3.7v doesn't burn out your flavors.
