Wilton's treatology set

So I purchased this set, its made to flavor icing & such. I made a small 15ml bottle, it tasted fabulous. But, the longer it sat the juice became like hair gel & wouldn't even get through the coil. I'm trying to figure out what exactly made this happen. I use a 50/50 base & literally drops of the flavoring per recipe booklet. I'm at a loss....

Quite a few of wiltons flavorings contain sugar, Xanthan gum, sodium benzoate & artificial coloring, none of which I would vape in any amount.
I am not aware of any thorough testing of their flavorings to determine suitability for use in vaping.

It's got to be something with "gum" making it gel. Oh well, my frosting will taste yummo!
