Thank you Mamu, as you probably guessed, one or two of those just may be yours:)

Going back to my earlier post about the quality of machining; what i am doing isn't anything that any other competent machinist can't do if they simply take the time to do it right (assuming they also have the right tools for the job). Machining, esp. on a non cnc lathes and mills, is all about the operator and the care, pride and time he/she puts into their work.

Well...I haven't bothered to read all the responses in this thread to try to get any hints.....and obviously....it's next to impossible to be able to see the seam, since David's machining is so amazing....but if I had to guess...I'd guess 3 and 5. I'm pretty sure about 5....just guessing on number 3. ;-)

But if I could have a second guess....I'd pick 4 and 5....ack....so tough to tell!!

Seriously though, I appreciate your hard work in doing it right for us. It says a lot for who you are and how you care.
