Actually I'm trying to time it so that when the furnace kicks on,in the shower I go.
Kinda the same as your idea....

That's what I try to do. I hate taking showers when it's cold. The getting in isn't bad, it's the getting out... brrrrr....

It was a Very special treat for me. I am usually cooped up in house with mom unless it is to go pay bills, get groceries or take her to Dr. First time in over a year I had me time.

I'm glad you were able to have that time for yourself. It's important, although sometimes we don't realize it until we don't have that me time.

What does catmint do? I've never given my cat that. I don't think I know what it is.

It's a relative of catnip. Has a similar smell, but MOST cats don't go nutzo over it. Killer did, though. The funny thing is he couldn't care less about the regular catnip. He wanted the catmint. It's a very pretty plant, compact and "shrubby," with gorgeous blue flowers and the leaves are smaller, a bit fuzzier, and slightly grayer than the regular catnip. When Killer finally died, we buried him near the catmint and over the years it's spread to cover his grave. Every spring when it blooms I smile and think of him.

That sounds so nice and pretty. I'm sorry about your Killer. It's lovely you have such a nice reminder of him.
