Best wishes for your success this time around.
I tried many times to quit over my 45+ year habit. Thankfully I found vaping, just as it was about to bloom into something wonderful. Quit instantly and with all the advancements, my hobbyitus and reasonable cost......I have been to busy to even think of slipping.:)
I have definitely turned it into more of a hobby this time than I intended. But I'm not complaining.

And thanks! And congrats on your success! That is pretty impressive. My dad is about the same as you, but he's not doing it as a hobby. He's doing the small pen styles and unflavored menthol just to help him quit.

I quit analogs the day I got my first vape. My last cig was at 5:10 PM on July 10, 2015. Driving home from work. I'd been watching the tracking on the USPS website and knew my vape was at home waiting for me when I got off work. I smoked my usual two on the drive home and haven't had one since that time.

I never really wanted to quit until I met the most amazing woman and she had a severe smoke allergy. For me it took a reason to want to quit. And that was her. I left the open pack of smokes in the car for months, plus a brand new carton and most of another carton in the trunk of the car. I also had a fresh, unopened pack in my gear bag for one of my hobbies. Just knowing they were there was comforting to me. I never had one and finally threw them all out. Probably close to if not over $100.00 bucks worth.

The hardest time was when she just left me. I just wanted a cigarette. But I willed myself not to buy a pack and I've stayed off them. Some days are hard but I just vape more. Some days a lot more, LOL!

I guess the point of all that is this... If you want to quit, you can. Maybe find a reason to quit. That's what I had to do. And if the reason leaves you, struggling and just dying for a smoke, don't give in. You can do it!

I tried for years to quit the STINKIES. Pills, patch, laser nothing worked. Started Vaping a year ago and slipped a couple of times but might have had a couple packs last year. But now I've found my Vape Zone and can't see myself ever touching them again My health has drastically improved.
And I really can't believe I used to smell like that!!!!
