My best friend Rowdy is a little small and yeah -- he has four legs,
playing fetch -- hide and seek and catch -- is how he likes to spend his days,
when we first met -- he was afraid -- to have a Lion's Heart he prayed,
with lots of love and a bit of a push and shove, now he's oh so very brave

The oldies station is blasting out some silly song about rum & coca cola. My mind immediately said, "No dummy, that's Rum and Cherry Soda." Well, I suppose one could make that rhyme and just modify their lyrics to fit. S-O-D-A Soda! Yeah, same number of syllables so we could steal their music...

About to hop off the forums for a while, in a bit of a hurry so got to keep this one short. Going out in the heat to pick a few weeds in the flower-bed here in a minute, I could really use a refreshing vape like some Loch Ness Modster or even something sweeter like Medusa.

A whole bunch of people have been telling me how much they ate on national ice cream day (never heard of it until this forum). That made me think of those yummy frozen bon bon things we used to get years ago, which made me wonder how good would a frozen version of Chocolate Covered Strawberry taste. Yummy!

But my traveling companion says,

Only so many things rhyme with Modster folks. I've put way too much effort into my entries, I'm not even an amateur poet, to string together the little rhymes I've created took a lot of legwork in the ole noggin.
This is my reaction when I realize I could have been using 9 flavors in my entries, instead of rhyming the same 5 words over and over in those little poems.........
