Well...it's happening. I have been craving French Toast...I'm sure all these scrumptious pics of French Toast...browned to perfection, dripping with syrup and sprinkled with fresh luscious fruit had absolutely NOTHING to do with it.
So I finally gave in to my cravings...and fixed myself a plate of French Toast..The first one turned out PERFECT! Nicely browned..I contemplated taking a pic of it and posting it here!
But the second one was a little over browned...and who wants to vape something akin to burnt French Toast?! Not me?!
I was out of maple syrup ...but happened to have a jar of Mayhaw jelly in the frig...mixed it with a lil agave nectar and Viola!....I was soon on the Yum-Yum train!
I don't know how much longer I can hold out for the Banana Split, though.
Please Clearette, pick ME so I don't go out and eat that Banana Split!!

Here's a bedtime story for y'all and it is not made up:
Lannie and I went out to do evening chores (feed and water critters) and get Elle, Cricket's calf, into her stall for the night. Elle was trying to get a last suck on mama before Lannie locked her up and decided to dance around to the other side. I was just going around Cricket and didn't see Elle buck and bounce until she landed on my left foot - HARD! I now have three (maybe four) broken toes. I think I'll be going to bed early tonight... but it sure would be nice to have a few puffs on Rum & Cherry Soda, Cherry Slush, Harvest Berries, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Black Cherry Pie, Juicy Peach, Loch Ness Modster, Mummy's Tomb, or Lion's Heart before I crash.
