KP now has Winsmoke SQuape clone. Picked one up immediately. Got it in my hands the other day and started vigourously cleaning in boiling water and is now steeping in alcohol. I researched this as much as possible, and Winsmoke claims the anodized components are indeed legit as opposed to other clones. Time will tell. tank looks like a million bucks. The threads are good...I suppose. The fit on the tank is really strange. I get no thread crunch, but it requires some (alot) of effort to unseal the components. The deck has two holes in which threaded sleeves are inserted for the terminal posts. Neither one is centered and one sleeve on my device is somewhat problematic requiring a screwdriver to turn in the thumbscrew (thumbscrew) and making me believe it will eventually thread out. Kinda sucks as I don't see how to fix this. Otherwise, looks great. Came in a neat emblazoned Winsmoke box, assortment of extra o-rings, etc. Unit is huge, but approx the weight of a KFL/Russian, perhaps lighter. I wasn't really a fan of the look, but that's a real minor consideration. Once I held the device and looked at it in person, it actually is quite stunning.
Edit: It still has the bottom 510 air inlet, though it is pretty large and looks bigger than the original. I took some draws out of it before cleaning and it seems slightly stiffer than a KFL/Russian with the air-control flushed. There is a hole in the bottom of the deck that appears to be a fill hole, but there is no access to it (sealed with screw from the inside, beneath the deck which is not designed to be removed) and it wouldn't make any sense as it has no access to tank.
Edit2: Forgot to mention, it is indeed pyrex tank.
