Those of us in cooler climes will know what I'm on about. Time to go shopping for acrylic/delrin/ultem drip tips and a good "vapekerchief" for the winter beard.

Anyone adjust their builds to the cooler temperatures? I personally still vape hot and marvel at the localised storm cell that develops around me on a cold, calm day.

To crystalized nose hairs!! May your lips remain unfused!

Doesn't really get too cold here and usually not too hot either. But I use PEI drip tips all the time. They don't get hot and stay pretty clean while being easy to clean.

Vape seems to taste better when the tank is cool or cold rather than hot from chain vaping.

Keep your squonkers close to the chest, lest ye juice be thickened like molasses!

Agreed, my jacket has an internal breast pocket that I believe is made just for a squonker. I'm not sure what other reason it would be there...:)

New York (no, not the city)
Winter around here had been highly variable lately. In the past five years there have been winters with sustained -20 to -40 temps and two feet of snow at a time, to 65 degrees on Christmas and total seasonal accumulation of six inches.
So...who knows.

Winter is coming! I can break out all the east coast fall clothes like jeans, long sleeved shirts, and maybe even sneakers! LOL.

I can also possibly leave my vape in the car for more than 2 minutes without anxiety about the batteries blowing up!!! The cactuses turn a lovely brown color (when we occasionally) get frost on the ground! Who needs leaf blowers and snow ploughs? For that very rare occasion that we need snow, we can go up to Mt. Lemnon and leave our woes behind (and, unlike some other Tucson residents, the snow also... )

I have to say the first time I saw pickup trucks descending to the city with HEAPING piles of snow in them I went, "WTH with you lot???" I mean, it's such a safety issue, but no one seems to understand that snow blowing off one's vehicle is a hazard.

To be fair, I suppose it's exciting, magical stuff, who wouldn't want to take some home and play with it in the living room until you learn about this phenomenon called "melting."

I'm kidding, but only with some of this.... :)

Ugh. Same here. We got a bit of snow last year. The biggest travel danger was flash flooding when years past, it had been ice.

So not sure what I need for winter preparation other than picking up diy juice stuff and extra coils.

Or stocking up on premade juice. Should allow it to steep very nicely if I don't touch it until it's too icy/floody to travel.

I don't miss the winters in northern IL where I was raised, tho they were prettier. Down here they are mild. Some winters the grass even stays green. My 1rt year down here they closed school because it was snowing. I was so shocked, I used to walk to the school bus stop on days the snow banks were taller than me.

Depending on where you live the almanac is predicting more snow this year for some..

Persimmon seeds are showing spoons in my area. According to the older folk, that means lots of snow.

Haven't seen any wooly worms to see if how fuzzy they are.

Gotta love weather telling folklore.

And.. lol.. for those who thought this post was funny.. I was actually being serious. The only thing I know about beards is that they tickle and I certainly don't know anything about beards and vaping in winter!

I probably sound stupid but I am not the one with a beard! So, I take it now that was a joke, known only to men right?

You all may now proceed to giggle, but I really didn't know... :)

I find it a lot of fun when I manage to catch that city bus with chains on it's tires to go meet up with my buddy a couple miles away from me. There are mountains on snow that had just come from a large blizzard and I finally have a nice warm bus ride, a bus that is actually almost empty because the city is dead. I get off the bus and my sneakers sink into a pile of snow but now I have to do acrobatics to jump over piles of snow to get to the side walkout and manage to not slip on the ice I just landed. So me and my buddy manage to walk 5 blocks and the Starbucks is actually open. Winter time is when I can actually appreciate some dark roast black coffee especially a Starbucks. So me and my buddy get that delicious coffee and go around the corner. It's still about 8 in the morning. We each pull out our vapes consecutively. My buddy with the goon and alien and me the revenger with the velocity v2. We take out our juice and juice up that cotton. Now goes the moment I cherish, inhaling those sweet flavors, blowing huge clouds while not bothering anybody on the street except myself because my hands are starting to freeze off. But we get a great vaping session in the early morning, drinking our coffees all while the city is dead like there's a zombie apocalypse. A perfect way to start a snowy day. Done it before and will do it again:)
