Wire Guage For Fog Log Mod

Hi there. I am currently starting a Fog Log mod, and have all but the 510 adapter right now, but wanted to start the rest. My main question is what gauge of wire would I use for the connection between the battery and the switch and from the switch to the 510 connector. Lastly, would a few 1/16" holes in the bottom of the bottom end cap be sufficient for venting? Battery used will be 1 18650 cell. Thank you in advance for any and all help. Much appreciated.
