When it happens, a sticky should be created, this may be a hot ticket item.....at first anyway. Or may be seen as skeptical, as I'd see it.

Some wireless devices just doesn't perform as well as wired, a great example is speakers & headphones, Another is solar lights, they look good at first, then fade after just a year. Or is it just my eyesight?

I don't see a wireless e-cig battery having & holding a good charge.

My understanding of all of this is that the charging pad they will be using is universal. So if you have one, you just need the card and shark skin cover. If it doesn't work, you can use it with other devices. The shark skin is a good idea for protection on a mod that falls over easily. So, to me, it's worth trying.

Solar lights need not be in your comparison, because it's a beast of a different design. Solar lights use a solar panel to charge the battery, whereas the wireless charging pad uses an induction coil to create an electromagnetic field. The other issue with your comparison would be the quality and type of batteries.

I wouldn't be one to buy the first generation of wirelessly charged e-cig, due to obvious reasons such as unproven technology. However, give it a year, and I'd be one standing in line.

Its been done, i thought about the metal case would be a problem but you could use an inductive patch between a skin. Easier on a box mod as you could use a plastic front facia on a metal box.

Should be pretty straight forward given its been around for mobiles a good while, but as said there plastic cases.

I might give it a go this week as I have a spare inductive patch for a samsung mobile just need to wire it into the usb board.

Beats breaking the usb socket like i did on my SX350 mod this week!
