After a late nite discussion with my wife yesterday night, I've decided to quit vaping.

Today has been my first day at it, and I am happy to say that I reduced my vaping from my usual 5ml or more a day to only 2ml. Hopefully, I will be able to slowly wean myself away from vaping, and stay tobacco and nicotine free in the near future.

This will also mean that I will hopefully be getting rid of all my vaping gear one of these days and basically no longer be able to show my face on the Malaysian forum on ECF while still making posts with a clear conscience, as I will no longer be a vaper.

Good luck to everyone on your vapour trail, and hope I succeed in my next step toward stopping vaping.

Hope you are making this decision truely not just because of being complaint by someone. As I said, non-smokers reject vaping too. But if you truely decided to quit vaping, it's a very good decision. As yr friend, I wish you good luck !

It's no turning back, coz' yer can't sell off yr vaping gears later turn back want to buy again.
Once you made the right decision, stand on it and will suceed. If one day you wanna sell yr gears, i'm interested at yr provari. As others said, one PV isn't enough in case of any emergency.

You reminded me of being complaint by someone for me being shutting myself at home studio, crazy doing my favourite music arrangements, waste of time enjoying but not generating income. haha, i just spend a lot less time on it now.

and we just meet up the other day... anyways... good for you mate. I'm willing to take the ggts+ufs from your gear list. It would greatly help with our 'ahem' plan the other day:evil:

Yes, my wife and I had the conversation right after our little meetup that night....I'll certainly keep you in mind when I finally let go of the GG. It's my favorite...and I plan to let it go first...once it's gone, there's no turning back.

Good luck to you .. the best policy is breathing nothing but air ..

Yes, one of the best arguments for quitting analogs and vaping too. Couldn't have been said any better.

Thanks to all for the well wishes. Can't forget all those who have given me help and advice in the past. It's with all their help that I've managed to switch to vaping. I'm gonna take it one step further now....and breath air for a change. Slow and steady....only about 1ml today, and feeling the effects of the lower nicotine intake....it's hard, but it's gonna be worth it.

Just an update on the progress.....I must confess that I'm still a long way from being totally nicotine free. It's been just about a week, and I had a tough time during the first few days, but it's not really getting any better.

The first 72 hours were ridiculously difficult. Couldn't sleep, bad temper, cold sweat, headache, flu like aches and pains. The insomnia is still here....try to sleep, but can't. If I take a few drags on an e-cig, I can fall asleep, but suddenly wake up an hour later and stare at the ceiling for a few hours.

Now vaping less than one ml every day, on about 3 to 6mg nicotine content. Was on zero for about half a day, but my hands started shaking and I had constant stomach discomfort for some reason...couldn't take it and increased the nic content back to 6mg.

For those folks who are reducing their nicotine intake, try to go gradually over a period of weeks. Maybe reduce 3mg to 6mg per week if you're an 18mg vaper. Going too fast like me is not a good idea.

It's seriously hard, folks. Add in the stress of work and life, and it's even harder. The worst is if you are reducing the vaping, but meet up with friends who vape or smoke cigarettes.

I surrender. I give up. I can't do it. I'm weak. I quit quitting. Back to vaping for me.

its ok jack:) & welcome back..vaping in moderation is fine unless something there in the dark about e-cig and e-liquids in years to come..so far this only device that weaned me away from analogs..regards mafig
