Just getting back to vaping and picked this up today. I also purchased the super tank which I've learned have kanthal coils. The predator has a lot of settings, I just set it to wattage for kanthal coils correct?

I like my Alien more . Now, between my GX350 and RX300, I like the RX300 more

The Predators finish seems like it will outlast the finish of the Alien. I think they're both excellent little devices. I'm just not sure about the 510 on the Predator, with all the issues previous Wismec devices (not all, but many) have had with their 510 connectors.

I've had the Alien for at least several months now, in pocket and at home, and my finish has remained intact. The Predator does look cool, but between the potential 510 popping out problem and the fact I already have an Alien, there's not much push for me to go after this one. Besides, I like the BB/BBB even though they're factory coils which I prefer to avoid. I know little about this new Elabo tank it's packaged with.

From what I have heard the finish issues were with the first runs of the productions and were already addressed like many other issues with many MOD's.

I saw that post over on VU about the 510 too...... what have I got myself into as it will be in the Vape Mail tomorrow. This may wind up being my mod mod if that makes any sense? Upgrade the 510, flash it with artic fox (when it comes out), repaint and polish it, ect.

So far I like the TC vape on my 2 year old IPV D2 better than the alien oddly enough. Neither hold a candle to the the Therion in TC mode. We shall see what the Pred has to offer at the end of the day.
BUT!!!....I think I'll like the Pred the most in the hand compared to the Therion and the Alien though.

I'm not a big fan of TC on the Alien either. I have an RX200s and a Presa 100 I think do TC better, still not wonderful, but serviceable. The Predator does look nice, and hopefully that 510 experience isn't the standard fare. Sure, you can upgrade the 510, but I'd rather pay the extra $5 for a better 510 upfront than deal with it after. They build to a price point, rather than setting a price based on the build. I guess that's no different than a lot of other products.

More and more issues about the press fit 510 popping out. DJLsb just uploaded a video about it, and GrimmGreen mentioned it in his vlog.
