I purchased a my new Presa TC100W earlier this week, but could only find a 18650. After 4 days of googling I still haven't found one, but I learned a little bit about vape batteries.

The Parameters of the Presa state: High-rate 26650 cell (discharging current should be above 35A).

Would that 35A be related to the "Max continuous discharge current" or the "Pulse discharging current" or both?

Thanks in advance

Wismec may specify 35A batteries, but specifying them is easier than making them or buying them. I personally use the MNKE Orange 26650 cells in my large diameter mods. Those are 30A cells, and about the best available, according to @Mooch. I checked this morning, and they're in stock a liionwholesale.com who are reputable dealers in batteries. Always buy from a good vendor-- batteries are often counterfeits-- and stick with the CDR rather than pulse rating for vaping purposes.

The Wismec is very much like the Stout when it comes to batteries. It is very sensitive to the size of the 26650. You'd think the vendors would take that 650 part to heart, but no. Both like the shorter batteries so you have to be careful how long they are. Both the Brillipower green and the Basen black are 4500 mah and have a CDR of 25 amps. I think these two were both called out by Mooch as good batteries for the Stout. You have to ignore the vendor's CDR rating on the battery. They aren't realistic. I don't think any battery on the chart got more than a 25 amp rating.
