How is the 510 worse? Lol I ordered one but I doubt it's improved.
I think most of those with troublesome 510s are the same one who has to over tighten their attys. Luckily I don't have this problem with attys, just pickle and mayo jars.LOL...There is nothing wrong with the original. All my tanks work as expected. This weird attack on the original designer of the 510 connection is starting to sound like those nauseating Provar fairy wand marketing threads.
Just out of curiosity, what have the manufacturers of those tanks said about about the problem you are suffering? The 510 is very shallow and my original RX has literally no play in it. Tanks and attys that simply do not fit on the rooolooo

Basically anything I would feel safe using on a noisy cricket will have a huge gap without using a spacer.
I ordered the new 200s last night I will compare it to my DNA and original v 1.4 model.
If this was the only mod I used it would really bother me but my aromamizer supreme fits and that's all I want to use anyway.

Shipping notification for RX200s from 101Vape, HG2s from Orbtronics. Coming from an Evic Mini, this thing is going to be huge!
Those are some of the best designed attomizers I own. I'm not sure why I would be in contact with the manufacturersJust out of curiosity, what have the manufacturers of those tanks said about about the problem you are suffering?
One could argue that the 510 pin on those atties is too long.Probably nothing. There's nothing wrong with the tanks. The 510 connector on the RX200 is simply too shallow.
And to his list you can add the Aspire Nautilus and Freemax Starre to the list of tanks that don't sit flush. They all extend about 1mm above the mod on my RX200. The Nautilus is especially problematic because it has a small diameter spring loaded pin that when fully compressed causes a short with the 510 pin and a 0hm reading, so it has to be so loose that not only does it not compress the pin in the 510 connector, but it can't compress the pin in the atty either. I have no problems using the same tank on any of my other mods.
You know Joyetech was the first to use the 510 as their standard connection and everybody else followed. But many of the others never bothered to use Joyetech's length of 4.6mm.One could argue that the 510 pin on those atties is too long.
so just did a quick browse thru some youtube videos and it seems like the 510 is still the same?
Yep, it's the same; too shallow.
What a shame. They could have made an actual improvement in function with the 200S, but instead they just gave it an ugly battery sled and screen.
WTH, Joyetech? I thought you'd learned with the Pico, which has a much better 510. I guess not. Imo, there's no good reason to buy the 200S over the standard RX200.
Kewl.....don't let the door hit you in the .....I feel the same way. They had a second chance to do it right but no, cheaped out. I'm going to pass on this one even tho its only $45.

Your whine is better presented to the manufacturers of the bad tanks than here. I have a pico unit coming tomorrow. I expect it will equally perform as well as my rx200 with my 7 tanks. I do expect it to be more pocket friendly than my desktop rx200.I know you like your RX200, its a solid mod, minus the 510 connector. And its fine, my .... is sort of narrow so it fits thru most doors.
[edit] ignore function utilized as well, seeing as none of your comments bring anything constructive.
