generally speaking people add way way too much flavor...... i cringe when people say they use 20% of a certain flavor and know it knocks me down at 5% and then complain it is too weak. too much flavor is often much worse than too little. it has the opposite effect than one might assume to add too much flavor, it causes no or little flavor. it is basically overloading your tastebuds.

I agree! I started with my favorite flavor @ 15% because that was the flavor concentration I used to buy from a pre-made vendor. The taste was significantly less than accepteble. After reading a bit on the flavor, I found that ~7% was the maximum that veteran DIYers were suggesting. All is well, now!

I'll admit that I'm very confused by WL's TFA flavorings. On the TFA website they offer one strawberry flavor. WL offers TFA Strawberry and TFA Strawberry Ripe.
Also WL offers TFA Absinthe.. a concentrate to start at 5%.. and contains alcohol. TFA website offers Absinthe, Absinthe Concentrate and Absinthe TRI. Their site says that the concentrate contains NO alcohol.
Don't get me wrong.. I'm not trying to badmouth WL because I love them and their business, but I am confused about what they sell because it makes a HUGE diffenerce in the recipes I have developed.
I made a very nice juice with Strawberry from TFA. Now, I don't know what flavoring to buy from WL. Confusing to an old man
