The perfect backup for an MVP is the iTaste VV 3.0. Same exact features (except no power output to charge other devices and a smaller 800 mAh battery), same smooth vape, but it is very compact -- 0.6" x 0.6" x 4.25".

I bought one for when I am unable to carry my much larger MVP 2.0 and I have been very happy with it. The only quirk is that the VV 3.0 has a slightly different user interface to adjust voltage / wattage and to switch between VV and VW modes. The two buttons near the display are + / -, and the setting does not wrap around to the minimum when you hit the maximum like on the MVP. To change to VV mode you hold the minus (bottom) button then press and hold the power button, and to change to VW mode you hold the plus (top) button then press and hold the power button. At first you may find yourself using the procedure for the MVP on the VV and vice-versa, but you learn quick.
