Wondering about battery safety sub ohm

So I broke my Kangertech Aerotank which I love. I normally vape the 1.8ohm coils on my IPV Mini at around 7.5 watts and it is perfect for me. Unfortunately I am in Guam and the closest place to me doesn't sell the replacement glass or any other similar tanks. What they suggested was the Nautilus Atlantis, which is .5ohm. I am not usually a sub ohm vaper and the idea scares me as I am afraid of the horror stories and I don't have a desire to cloud chase. Anyways, the batteries I'm using in the IPV mini are AW 18650 3.7V 2000mAh (7.4WH). I believe they are rated for 10 amps, I'm not sure if that's continuous or pulsed as it's all very confusing to me (hence why I didn't want to go sub ohm in the first place). The person at the store said I should vape it between 20-30 watts which is a big jump from where I like my Kangertech Aerotank. Will my batteries be okay to deal with this kind of power output or should I invest in some new batteries? I really only plan on using this setup until I can get some replacement glass shipped to me for my Aerotank which may take up to a month depending on the company. Also, how long do these batteries last as far as when you should recycle and replace with new batteries?

The AW battery is rated at 10 Amps continuous according to the specs I found on several sites, so you would be under the maximum battery drain at 30 Watts, but just to error on the side of caution I would pick up a high drain Sony, Efest or LG battery. As far as what the guy at the store told you about what wattage to vape at, ignore him. Vape at whatever wattage tastes best to you!

Most batteries list a a cycle life of around 300-500 recharges. However, I haven't actually counted the number of times I've charged my batteries, but it seems to me that after around 6 months or 150 charges or so they start draining a lot faster.

I don't don't for sure, but I would venture a guess that you could get a replacement tank in well under a month from fasttech of another Chinese supplier.

It's not the company really, it's what forms of delivery they offer. Here on Guam it costs buku bucks to ship to and from. So rather than spend $40 or more shipping a couple $4 glass tubes overnight or express it's more feasible to wait if the batteries I have will handle the load I'm putting them under. Either way, shipping to a tiny island out in the middle of nowhere is expensive even for slow shipping and will take 10-14 days longer than state to state shipments do. Anyway, from what I gather, I am vaping at 17.5 watts and the ohms law calculator said I was within the range of giving the battery some amperage leeway pulling about 6.8 amps which should be fine. I just ask because I may be missing an important detail to it all. From what I've read and what ya'll have told me I should be fine with what I have for a few weeks until my replacement glass gets here. The only thing I don't like about it is trying to do mouth to lung hits on this is nearly impossible.

The B&M here said that the Atlantis only came in .5 ohm. Maybe they were trying to push me into this specific tank and ohm rating or that's all they carried but either way I am okay with it as long as it's safe. I can lung hit for a few weeks until I get my beloved Aerotank back. Despite how much vapor it produces and still having a decent flavor I'm definitely not going to use the Atlantis as my everyday tank. I am and will always be a flavor chaser and not a cloud chaser.
