There are a few over time that have thrown in the towel, vaping is kind of a new school and a complicated learning curve, some just didn't have good results. But they faded away from ECF, so no stats that I know of. My memory can't think of too many, however. Especially with us 'older' smokers who think this may just save our lives, me for example (44 year smoker, 2-3 packs a day)!

I feel as though I am still new to vaping. . . I Purchased 2 months ago and have found that I had to break the habit of going outside to freeze, go figure...it, was only a habit....After that, I prefer to Vape and only vape, unless I go to a casino, I am afraid I will loose my battery in the casino....so I use analogs.

Interesting, I had a carton and a half when my VK's came in. I smoke them as I said in casinos, or when company came over and they wanted to go out side....seems as though I just grabbed the old ones. I now have finished up the old cigerates (yes, they were stale) and this will be the first week without them. I am going to try vaping in the casino....and pray I do not loose my battery :)

I was planning on cutting down until I was able to quit. but......on the night of March 4 th I went into an awefull coughing fit my COPD, set my cigarettes down and have been only vaping since then. I have not had any cigarettes at all since then. Completely free of cigarettes for full day starting March 5th and not even interested in turning back. Good luck

I have friends who vape and smoke. I have friends who quit smoking and vape only. I have one friend who quit smoking and then quit vaping! I have one friend who tried it and gave up. Personally, I don't think he ever gave it a proper chance but it is his life and his decision.

From my experience about 50% of the people quit smoking. About 5% don't take to it at all. And the remaining 45% vape and smoke some. In my opinion that is a 95% success rate. If you cut down on your smoking or if you quit all together you have succeeded! My numbers are in NO WAY indicative of actual values! LOL

I think the biggest obsticle for people switching and sticking to vaping is the learning curve. Its a completly different inhale and honestly without this forum I dont know if I would have figured it out, but now that I've through a big part of the process ( always more to learn as more mods become available) I can't see returning to analogs.

Yes, I have an occassional analog here and there sometimes 3 in a day but then days without. Everytime I have an analog I end up killing it 1/2 way through- the flavour just can't compare to vaping and it makes me feel horrible.

I think that if more ppl had the instruction on how to use a pv properly the number of ppl that return to analogs would be even lower than they are, but that's just personal opinion.

I introduced my sister to the world of vaping and she is still smoking analogs. She says that the vaping just does not "do it" for her. I am still trying to get her husband on board. He is now doing both. I have only quit for a short amount of time, but have had the cravings for an analog. I smoke the Envy brand, it is a M403, and so does my husband. He is also struggling with analogs, but he is vaping as well. I guess it really just depends on the person and if they are ready to make the switch.
