Wondering if my 35mm boges will fit this tank

There is a hand blown tank I am looking at getting in the next week. The size of the tank is about 40mm with end caps. I use 35mm boges. I am wondering if there will be enough play for the carto to fit and still be sealed in the end caps....
There is a difference of .2 inches between my carto and the tank length including end caps

My first guess is it would NOT fit. Carto length is determined usually by the part that will fit inside the tank, from the drip tip opening to the connector/flange. A 35mm Boge will be too short in a 40mm length tank.



Having said that, 40mm is an odd length for a tank. A standard length is 35mm. An XL is 45mm.

I was hoping it would at least fit between the caps to create a seal. But at that price I am not sure i want to take the chance. I am not sure how far the caps go down on the inside either. Of course I can always order XL boges but I have to have 35mm for my BB and I would much prefer to use the same on other tanks. I just have plenty so hate to order more of a different size right now
I have contacted them several times and I am guessing they don't have any 35mm to try . Also none of their tanks have deminsions so makes it tough but beautiful none the less.

I have this custom hand-blown pyrex tank from High Desert. It uses a 35mm Boge and has soft silicone grommets in place of the typical endcaps.

Yes actually I have been looking at some of them and contacted them to see when they restock. A lot seem to be out of stock right now. I think he said they plain to restock in a few weeks. I may just hold out. They look super nice as well. However there is one I really like and if it happens to be in stock this Friday on payday i will likely scoop it up.

I love that tank by the way, I am a fan of frogs
