Hi rolf, thank you!

I've always been fascinated by tiny yet powerful mods, you can't find many of those around - not VW, anyway.

I'd love to see your zmax mod, would you share a link to it?

hi xpen!
absolutely love it . also like the hidden switches . used the same form factor in my zmax mod and agree that it is very pocked friendly.
very nice work !!!!

Hi all,

I'm very proud to present my new creature, an 18650-based DNA20 mod... My first mod! It took me two months to complete, on & off.

Quite small (22x40x85mm), quite light (about 100gr with battery), yet very powerful... it makes use of the excellent Mamu/Bapgood's DNA20 screen frame

I'm now starting work on its 18500 sibling, stay tuned ;)

xpen, this is wonderful!

Love Evolv, love Mamu, love wood and carbon fiber. Love what you've created! Can't wait to see the diminutive sibling. ;)

(Come va in Italia in questi giorni?)

why, thank you!

it'd seem we share many tastes, then ;)

(l'Italia di questi tempi... è un casino, ma grazie per averlo chiesto)

Very nice mod, hope the one I'm making looks half as good. Can you tell me where you got the fire button. Having hard time finding switches I like.

thank you!

It's an 'antivandalic' stainless steel pushbutton, got it from Hong Kong thru ebay.

I can try and recover the vendor info if you need it, but consider this: (only after completing the box, of course) I came to the conclusion that such a button is overkill on a small box..

The DNA20D practically doesn't pass any current thru it, so even an SMD microswitch would do.

Anyway in the states I think you may have a look to madvapes.com, they have quite some stuff for DIY.

All the best for your mod, I'd like to see it.. Keep me posted.
