Woodville Spring is GLOWING hot

Hi guys, I have a Woodville from the last release and I love it. However, over the weekend I noticed a burning smell when I went to take a drag. I took the door off and hit the button again to see if I saw anything and the spring was glowing orange. I mean this thing is getting hot! I have tried different atty’s (which are working on a backup device), tried three different batteries and the same thing keeps happening. I have discontinued use of my Woodville until I figure this out so I don’t damage anything.

Do you guys have any idea what might be happening???

you have a a short somewhere try a different atty.

I tried three different attys and it was all the same results. I think I might try a new spring as the original is pretty compressed. Has anyone ever had their spring glow and it not be the atty? Perhaps somewhere in the wiring or the switch???

If you had a short and it's not working right you may have to send it to Rob.

While your Woodvil is away, get out your multimeter and check all of your attys and batts. You don't want to short it out again if an atty or batt was responsible for it to begin with.
