Some of you may remember the following link to BMJ's tobacco control blog

BMJ Group blogs: Tobacco Control Blog » Blog Archive » Word wars and tobacco control

Now Elaine's comment had the best rating and was the most popular, unfortunately she didn't make the cut in choose the winner.

I guess you'll just have to settle for Miss Popularity. :toast::party::thumbs:

If you have the time, sort the comments by latest and read the two posted by Satoshi Hirota, M.D., Ph.D. Also make sure you read the earlier one first. I believe he's identified a disease, but not the one he spent so long explaining. :vapor::vapor:

Elaine, I have been waiting patiently for McFadden's book to show up on my bookshelves. I hate to go out and actually pay full price for it when I see so many books every day in my altruistic endeavor. Perhaps I'll break down and do it anyway, right after I attempt to use The Secret to bring it into my universe.

Totally OT, I got a rundown on The Secret from a friend a couple years ago. She was pretty detailed on the theme of the book so before I left I said I'd use the premise of the book to find it. I had never seen a copy of the book, but the next morning I started seeing the book arriving in one of the contributed boxes and finding it and buying it. I did that for three days and stopped because, as they say in the book, you need to be convinced that whatever you visualize will be manifested to you, so I was convinced it would soon be mine.

Within a week, I opened a box and that little book was sitting right on top of all the others. Needless to say, I bought and read it although, I had the concept down pretty well. My next installation will be about how I used The Secret to find my lost dog......
