I did ..... still only got about 2 1/2 vapes with a burnt taste in the background. I even tried only firing the bat for 2 or 3 seconds. Think I'll stick to me eGo-T.

sounds like your juice isnt getting down into the atty, drop the drips in without the tip on, then put the tip on and try that, if that fails let me know and I will shoot you out another atty maybe there is something up.

Finally ordered a couple of these. Can't wait to try em out.

I'm going to repeat my earlier question. Does anyone have feedback about the drip shields? (I use mostly-PG heavy juice). I'd not been familiar with the drip shields until this thread. I normally don't get much leaking from a 510 (901's are of course a very different story). Just to make sure I'm understanding though - you must *have* to use a separate adapter (e.g. 510 to 510) to get the bottom seal below the holes for them to be effective, right?

I've tried it both ways......directly into the atty making sure to keep the drip centered and into the cup and through the drip tip and blowing through the tip before firing the battery. It's like the coil gets so hot so fast it just vaperizes two drips almost instantly.

I received one of these and a drip tip with my shipment yesterday. I tried it with my fav SV101 and a couple e-liquids from GV. For all three I dripped three drops into the unit and all three times I got two poor hits and then a third burnt tasting hit. I’m being careful to drip it as centered as possible and I’ve watched the vids. I tried 4 drops and it leaked. FYI I am using a eGo battery.

What am I doing wrong??

I've been reading about your issue and started looking back to see what device you are using. I don't know what SV 101 is (could you please add that abbreviation to http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...r-abbreviations-just-what-bwb-ikv-dk-etc.html ? GV I have down as Gourmet Vapor at least.)

I'll be using a mix like yours (70/30PG) on a 3.7v (specifically a 14550). Fresh charge is around 4.2v (making 1.5ohms a little harsh to me but 1.7-2.0 very nice), and I was beginning to wonder what voltage this mod you have is running at given your experience so far?

These will leak with higher PG juice, the adapter for the drip shield is to raise the atty off the mod so the shield will come down far enough over the drip shield, unless your mod has a raised connecter for your atomizer the shield wont slide down far enough like you said here.

ok, been up all night, so i may be missing something here, please help...i just placed an order for 5 of your dripping 510 attys, then i went to empire for a drip shield, but they only sell them in 910's i mean it would stand to reason if a 910 drip tip fits a 510 atty then the shield would work to, but i just want to make sure it will work before i order a 910....and omg i'm so tired....hope this post made some since and someone can help me clarify this :)

Sounds like it, yes.

can i suggest this adapter for the dripshield?
V2 510 Shorty Extension Sealed

That'll be in my next order for sure. MV rocks.

SV101 is e-juice sold by smart vapes. My all time favorite!!

Ahh, right (duh! LOL). What are you using this on though? Sorry if you already said, but I must have missed that. Are you using this on an eGo battery?

The Empire Mods Drip shield is sold as 901 but it fits 510 atomizers, the extensions or adapters are to move the atomizer up high enough for the Shield to work properly

i have the silver bullet with the 510 threads, so i should use the adapter then? cuz, well i bought it already :/

Yea get this 510-510 Adapter (Unsealed) it will raise the atty high enough for the drip shield to work
if you look at the Dripping atty page on my website there is a discount code to use there as well.

I vape the Joye eGo-T and I was trying to vap it using one of the drip attys and its not working. I think SV is going to send me a replacement?
