Ruben & Mike,
I don't know if/when you'll read this, but when I stopped in on Saturday, Ruben asked me what I thought of the Unitank I bought from you a few days earlier. I think I implied I wasn't crazy about it. Well, today started using the Protank2 I picked up yesterday with the exact same juice I had in the Unitank (your Dragon's Blood). I like the Protank 2 much better. It produces a much nicer vape.
I've vaped more of your Dragon's Blood than any other juice I've tried so far, and I always liked its taste, but I also thought it was somehow a bit harsh. Well, it's not the juice. It was the Unitank. After switching to the Protank 2, I've come to realize that the atomizer in the Unitank was running somewhat dry. I cleaned it out today and removed one of the top wicks from the head. There are reports out there that this fixes the problem but I haven't verified that yet.
The ProTank 2 is is noticeably heavier and produces a nice balance on my 1300 mAh spinners. OTOH, I don't think I'd want to use it on a smaller/lighter battery. For example, it doesn't feel right on the iTaste VV I picked up; the Protank 2 Mini is a better match for that.
I do like the VV. It's a bit one the pricey side for an 800 mAh battery, but being able to set the power, and being able to use it to do reality checks on head resistances makes it worth it. When I bought it I didn't even realize it came with five iClear 16s. OK, they're cheap plastic top-atomizer tanks and I've decided I prefer glass bottom-atomizer tanks, but.. They blow the only other top-atomizer tanks I've used (Halo Triton) out of the water -- much nicer vape. I'll be using them to taste-test various flavors from now on, while putting stuff I know I wanna vape in the better, bottom-coil tanks. I've got your Tropical Fusion in one of them now, and it's a neat change of pace.
Anyway, thanks for putting up with me hanging out in your store for a couple of hours for the second time in less than a week!
