I read the first page, then kinda thought about the OP.

Your tastes are going to change. You almost never read of somebody here who says "I am 6 months in and still love my first liquid".

It will take because you find something that gives you the nic-fix, and is good enough, flavor wise. Over the course of the next 6 months, your tastes will change. Several times most likely.

The worst was a "rich tobacco", that tasted like wood, but I can't remember who made it. Blech....

The worst flavor (no mention of vendors) was Clove. Yuck! I can still taste it thinking about it.

When I first started vaping, I did a forum search for my cig brand (Newport). I did find one I really liked and that truly did get me off cigarettes. After that I branched out to other flavors, but finding something with a similar profile did help me when I started.

Don't break the bank buying liquids. Find one that's acceptable, you don't have to fall in love. Your tastes are changing.

As DIY I extract my own coffee flavor. It usually takes two days and is a PITA but tastes great. I saw some Kona coffee flavoring and thought it would be a lot easier. I still remember my reaction.

...! OMG nooooo! That ....'s in my mouth! I then brushed my teeth, tongue and cheeks then gargled - twice.

Makes me wonder how that stuff was extracted. gasoline maybe:evil:

Thanks everyone. It is true that my tastes are going to change. The menthol I have now tastes gross but curbs the cravings. Also got a Korean flavor of "mild cigarette" with 0 nic for lazy weekends. All I taste is sweet with that one. Believe me though, I will go grab some amazing flavor if I ever think a cig would be better. I am done smoking!!

I don't know. I guess I don't see the point in hiding 'fact of life' things from kids. But then I basically grew up on a farm around horses and other animals. <shrug> My wife raised 15 kids (her nieces, nephews, then grand nieces and nephews) and has the same attitude.

I don't think I am trying to "shelter" my child from things. I just know I will be his role model. I don't need to be doing things that I know are bad for me around him. If he grows up and starts smoking/vaping nic that's his choice and I'll be all for it. I just don't wanna feel like I had anything to do with it.

I am only vaping as NRT for quitting the stinkies. So I am not trying to go for great flavors. First thing I got was strait up menthol and boy is that gross first thing in the morning. Anyone else try the same method? Any flavors that will just want me to vape to get the nic?

For me Shangri la is a demon lying in wait to stab me in the mouth with a Fecal infused pitchfork, Cherry by Niko-liquids is pretty awful as well, smells like Raid on the exhale

Is the actual name of it Rich Tobacco? If it is I may know the flavor you're speaking of-- I agree, it is terrible. What's funny though is I know someone who loves it, and buys 5 bottles at a time. I suppose he's a prime example of that whole "flavor is subjective" thing.

You shouldn't aim for "Worst flavour". Maybe "no flavour"? The flavour is 90% of what keeps people vaping IMO, and thats where the success comes from. Being able to stick with it for a long period of time. I can see myself doing this for a few years, then stopping gradually with relative ease. I already sometimes forget to vape until 2-3pm and i used to be a 1pack a day smoker. So this is my personal life line to staying in good health. All that is my opinion though :)

If you want no flavor, just ask for a no flavor base with your desired nicotine level and a little bit "PG"ish, but I don't recommend that. I don't often smoke fruity flavours and all tobaccos were "sweet". I go for tart, bitter, heavy flavours. Certain tobacco blends are known for being less fruity. If you have a specific goal and flavour profile you prefer maybe an experienced mixer someone can help!

If you really just want a crap flavour, some youtube reviewers say one of the RYs (1-4) tastes like socks and camel spit.

Plain PG/VG+Nic should suffice if you're really not interested in flavour, but i'd be surprised if that helped you quit.
