Been looking to get a kayfun, or 91%, and had someone offer me this one.
Said he couldnt get it to stop flooding/Leaking.

I wrapped 30 wire to 1.6 ohms, wicked it with some cotton yarn and the only leak I had was when leaving it on its side overnight... and even then it was minor, and a blow thru and wipe yielded maybe 3-4 drops of juice and its been fine all day so far.
Good threads... air screw removed and there is no "whistle".... hits great....

I may get a couple more from him if this keeps up !

Opinions ?

Tobeco, together best corp, is a crapshoot when it comes to quality, you might get lucky or you might get burnt, BTW it shouldn't leak whether it's upright, sideways or upside down, there's probably a burr or a bad o-ring causing the slight leak when laid down .

not true about there being a problem if laid down. it doesn't necessarily mean there is a problem if the device slightly leaks if laid down. if you read the svesmesto manual it does state that this can happen if laid down a certain way.

Thanks for the insights thus far,,,,,

    Still hitting great !
Unless this thing turns into a pumpkin before tues, I'll be going back for at LEAST one more. ( Seller was a local B&M owner and had a few more... said he would not even put them on the shelf for sale unless HE could get them to work right. )

Gotta say, I was a little worried when this guy said him and his top employee were unable to get these to work right.
But I seemed to have gotten Lucky....
    Worth every penny so far.....

    Anyways...........

They can leak on their side if the liquid level is low enough that one of the liquid feeds is exposed to the air pocket in the tank allowing the liquid level to equalize inside the chamber through the other feed.

I don't usually have a problem on my Kayfuns, but my Expromizer seems to be bad for this, because even when full, there is a large air pocket in the tank.

What can I say, maybe I'm just lucky....

This Tobeco has been pretty good so far.
3 Days in now and aside from the first night on its side, ( where I stated the juice loss was minimal... 3-4 drops blown out of the chimney and fine since then. ) No Leaks / No Floods !

    Leaking....
IMHO can only be a couple of things.
O-rings wrong size or disfigured.... or just crap tolerances in the construction of the unit.

    Separate issue
    Flooding....
Wick build .... or just crap tolerances in the construction of the unit.

This one seems built well, and I seemed to have hit the sweet spot with the wick build.... No dry hits, no Leaks !
So IMHO for 20 bucks I'll get a couple more.

    Anyways.....
