I've been using 2 kayfun Lites and 1 Russian 91% for about 4 months and love them. But these RBAs are not happy campers in warm weather. When the temp is above 80 degrees (it's been in the 90s this week in NC) they leak out the air hole, flood and gurgle. You can't leave them in a hot car or you'll have a mess.

We've got a family vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC next month, and I'm trying to figure out my vaping plan. I'll certainly take my kayfuns, but doubt they'll be very happy at the beach. Unless someone has a better idea, I guess I'd better plan on bringing some EVODs with me for outdoor use.

How about a cooling wrap that can be powered by my Provari?!

Any tank will leak in the heat. Your eliquid thins in high temps. I learned this the hard way, over a year ago I left a Vivi Nova and ego battery in my glove box. It was a hot summer day, I went indoors for a lunch date. A couple of hours later I returned to an empty Vivi Nova and a glove box full of juice. It wasen't the fault of the tank, the liquid thinned in the heat. Your best bet is to use your Kayfun and Russian, try and find away to keep them cool. You mentioned the beach, my suggestion would be, keep them in your cooler when not in use. By all means keep them out of the sun. Good luck and have fun!

if you keep them upside down as well will help with the leaking, will not stop it completely but will help considerably

No offense to you intended.

I just can't help but chuckle a little at this... after all the times I've had to read anti-genniers and their "have to keep them upright, or they leak". :D

i keep my russian upside down when i leave it in the car, had never had a problem with leaks other than maybe a drop or 2.
i just turn it upside down in the cup holder with a paper towel rolled up in the bottom. works for me, may work for you

I live in NC as well and so far I have had no leakage issues. I primarily carry mine with me whenever I am out and about and rarely leave it in the car, but it is often pressed against my leg for further heating in our warm weather. Perhaps you need to splay the wick out a little more in the juice cavity to help obstruct it while not blocking the holes. That is my process and I've been issue free so far.

I wasn't all too serious. Just poking a little fun back at those who claim gennies leak and Kayfuns don't... at least during late spring and early autumn... or if kept upside down the rest of the year.

I don't think anyone who know what they are talking about would say their is a good leak proof system yet. But I think we are getting closer.

~90 degrees here and frequently travel up and down the mountains and I've honestly never had a leak from my kfl+ clone
