Would anyone be against buying the Ego Maxx?

I've ordered one of these, my motivation was that it is considerably cheaper than a Joye Ego, it has a 700mha battery, and it has a blue LED which I thought was groovy (but not on the end like a V-Go).

Anyways. Having just clicked the order now button, I'm expecting delivery in 24 hours. Only thing is I've just noticed its not an Official Joye.

Please have a look at the device, and let me know it looks like a respectable PV.

Hmm.. well I haven't done the math... the biggest difference in these starter kits is going to be the atomizer. So generally speaking- if the atomizer functions you will probably be ok.

Once you get the unit get a few genuine Joye/Janty 510 atomizers before playing with third party ones.

You'll probably be ok assuming the battery is decent. If the atomizer(s) are horrid- you'll be out an immediate $8 each for genuine Joye.

Went I switched to an eGo class device, I went with a genuine eGo mostly because I knew ahead of time I wouldn't be getting sub par atomizers with the kit. If you add $16.00 to the startup kit cost for two decent atomizers, you may find you are better off with a name brand eGo.

YMMV

Cool stuff, thanks! I've switched to cartos, and I have a good local supplier of originals for this.
