It's the shipping costs that are killing me! $15.00!
Damn

Heaven Gifts EMS is $14. I usually 'build up an order' first to justify it. And with each purchase you gain 'points' that can lead to lifetime discounts at the silver and gold level that will more than make up for the shipping.

You forgot to mention its for the first 0.5kg and for US orders.

I didn't forget anything. That's just what I paid for my last two orders (actually more orders than that). Pretty much what everyone here in the US would pay, which I'm assuming is what 'markimar' in Orlando might want to know and to whom that was addressed.

Looks like HG shipping differs depending on destination - for me it costs $28!!!
So my only choice from them is to use regular mail and I can only risk getting small parts - attys and converters, which for me is fine.

I'm afraid someone besides me will have to verify this. I've yet to receive mine and even when i do, i do not know and do not have the tools to find out. I'd like to know as well though.

But the stainless steel button and LED ring is a good enough reason for me to get the Maxx batteries compared to the others.

Well, looks like I am sold (almost :p) - once I finalize and get it I will check the voltage and let you know (unless someone beats me to it - might take 1 month to reach me) But if it is 3.7, great, since it seems that all M401 run at 2.8v and the M401 PT runs at 3.2, so 3.7 will be a much better deal.

Just ordered my Maxx with the killer e liquid deal.. that should keep me going for like 9 months...
Including what I have now, I should be safe for over a year, yeee!!
cannot wait to :mail:

Edit:
Added some converters, 2 LR attys and a 510 manual PT from HG...
Used regular mail though, only 4 bucks - the other shipping method is just too much for me.

Well I shot off an email to Smoore/Absolutely to see if they actually build the MaxX and their new 510 atties. I also asked if the T-Rex is just a re-brand.

There seems to be quite a few posts of folks having button/battery problems with their eGo/Joyes. Let's see if Absolutey has addressed some of these issues as they infer, and the 4.2V claim is probably their way of saying the device will operate at the standard 3.7V loaded voltage like most USA mods.

Smoore has been at it awhile, and if the 510 atties are their own I'd like to try them also.

That said, without long term reviews (to see how they hold up), I'd be much more prone to buy a new Smoore product than one from EM or Hello.

Alright just got a response, my questions:
I would like to know if the new Absolute MaxX is built by you. Is it a Smoore product? Are you also making your own 510 atomizers.

The T-Rex I see looks the same, is this a re-brand of your Absolute MaxX?

Thank You.

The response:
As the market is very competitive at the moment and many manufacturers keeping their internal matters a secret, we are unable to divulge too much as well. This is to protect the interests of our company and business.

We can assure you that it is our own product and we always emphasize on the quality aspect o all our products.

Different model names on the market are a norm and we cannot provide more info at the moment as we have a marketing strategy to follow. We sincerely hope you understand and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you very much.

regards,

Not a surprising tactic. Most reputable ecig manufacturers are keeping everything hush hush now. Joye refuses to sell within China for fear of their products being copied. EM says their model is not a Joye but refuses to reveal the manufacturer or whether they are the manufacturer. Some chinese sites i visited that carries the ego are not allowed to ship to certain countries.

Its getting competitive and when you have something good and improved (possibly), you wanna keep it to yourself and recover whatever investments you have made + profits before ever letting anyone know.

However, judging from the reply, it does seem to be a Smoore product or at least, an Absolutelyecigs.com product, which should mean the same thing.

other way around I expect....the T-Rex is made by Shenzhen Mingjietong Technology Co., Ltd. and I doubt there were two companies coming out with identical stainless steel switches in the same week.....

Ah now I see why Smoore was so vague. It's interesting their other products are a 401, 402, 403 (Smoore clone), a 510 (Joye clone) and a 701 cigar (SLB clone).

electronic cigarette/ Shenzhen Mingjietong Technology Co., Ltd.

So many players these days.

Just ordered the hello016 at madvapes for $49.00 hoping it vapes at 3.7v 1300 mah
Can't beat the price just hope it works better than ego/tornado I already have!
If your hope* turns out to be reality, the Hello 016 seems the only way to go.
* That is, not only the advertised 1300 mAh, but also a true 3.7V (starting at 4.2V fully charged).
Otherwise, I will continue to be torn between the true 3.7V T-Rex** and the 1300 mAh Hello 016. [The new 1000 mAh Tornado batts are too little, too late.]
** I say T-Rex rather than Absolute MaxX, because of shipping costs from U.S. supplier like eSmokerOnline vs. a China supplier like AbsolutelyEcigs.
Please let us know the reality.
