Hi all,
It's gonna be my birthday in a couple weeks, which means I need to buy myself a present. I've settled on a mech I'd like to buy, and an RDA - a Sigelei #24 and either a SCAR RDA or an IGO-W. I'd like to use 18500 batteries, because of aesthetic-size preference. I've read a lot and I think that most people recommend Efest or AW batteries, and Nitecore or XTar chargers. I will avoid anything with *fire in the name. My questions are these:
1. Should I use button or flat top batteries?
2. Do I REALLY need a battery charging bag?
3. Should the batteries be protected, or will a Vaper Safe Fuse be adequate?
4. Are all the 18350-18650 batteries high-drain?
5. Should I use silica for wick in an RDA, or will my usual cotton yarn be sufficient?
6. I have 32g kanthal, but I see a lot of people using 28g. Should I get a higher gauge wire, or can I still use the 32g?
Thank you for any and all advice/suggestions. I can't wait to fiddle with this stuff.
