I'm already a CASAA member. However, this is a critical time in protecting our freedom and liberty with something all of us hold very dear to ourselves, our health, and our families. If CASAA fights for us in court I would gladly donate additional to a designated legal fund. I hope everyone on this forum would. Even if just a dollar or 2. This is a big forum. We can make a difference.

I'm not sure if this topic has been touched on or talked about elsewhere. If it has, please delete. If not, please discuss.

Without a doubt. I recently donated what I feel to be a substantial amount to CASAA because I could afford it and I'm scared silly the government is going to take away the only effective tool I've found to put down the smokes after nearly 40 years' smoking and repeatedly trying and failing to quit with all the "approved methods." When my budget allows, I plan to donate more. If vapers don't pony up to support CASAA, who will? You can't win this fight without money and they don't take money from the big boys (the electronic cigarette, tobacco or pharmaceutical industries).

I think a specific legal fund may draw additional attention. That was what I was hitting on. Some people don't like to "join" groups. Some folks prefer to donate money for very specific purposes. I'm not saying that CASAA doesn't specifically use the money donated all for the same cause though. If they wanted to take the proposal to Fed court and fight, it would be nice to open a specific fund for that purpose. There are enough members on ECF to create awareness outside of ECF and CASAA as well through social media and circles of friends and families.

My grocery store has a donate option at checkout for charities. vape shops across the country could ask customers to donate at checkout. It could potentially motivate vape enthusiasts to donate to a "Stop the FDA in Court Legal Fund" who otherwise wouldn't donate to CASAA in general.

Just spit balling here.

I donated $20. Sorry wish I could do more. I count as the working poor, but this is big and needs to be done. I had to give up a few bottles of juice. Compare that to the health I get in return, it's worth it!

From nowhere to the world. Thanks taptalk!

Wow Raths.

That is about the Coolest thing I have Read here on the ECF in awhile.

At $250 an hour working 5 days a week, a single lawyer bills around $520,000 every year.

With 19,199 active members all donating the same, each would need to donate $27.08 each to pay one lawyer for one year.

Double that and your not exactly guaranteed a better lawyer, just a more costly one.

I'll be happy to help, if the need is shown.
