Would you go the extra $ and get a ProVari ???

yes. i don't see how this makes vv and vw the same thing however...

Ohms law 101:

Watts = voltage*voltage/ohms.

Given a specific resistance head, if I vary voltage, I mathematically vary my wattage.

VV and VW devices BOTH adjust voltage to the device to get to a desired wattage.

In a variable voltage device, I am setting this voltage manually. I hope to achieve the desired wattage either by way of "chart" , "rule of thumb (set voltage to ohms +2 to get 8 watts), or mathematically

In a Variable wattage device I set the target wattage, the device reads the coil resistance and adjusts the voltage accordingly. The only difference is whos brain am I using. With variable voltage I'm reading the coil resistance and I'm adjusting the voltage. With a Variable Wattage device I let the device do it.

Irregardless of who's "pushing the buttons" the exact same thing is happening on a VV device as is happening on a VW device.

I suppose you're going to say that a stick shift and automatic transmission are fundamentally different too? I guess stick shifts are hopelessly outdated too.

except you either rely on the chip for calculations or you do it yourself, which takes longer

the end result is the same. they do NOT do the same thing

In fact, they DO the same thing. You can't adjust an ouput parameter without adjusting an input parameter. Current and power are ouput parameters determined by voltage and resistance (input parameters).

except you cannot set fractional differences which the chip is able to. Whats on your led screen is NOT exact. it is a rounded number. There is gonna be small decimals that you cannot see or change while the chip can.

BOTH the DNA20 and 30 are better chips than what are in the provari. All Hana Modz have better chips, though they are similar in cost to the provari. Look EVERYBODY. I'm just saying Provari is not the best for the cost. IT is a very good mod, but should not be so expenesive.

I have a ZNA which has the DNA 30 board so don't misunderstand me here, but to say it is better than the Provari is stretching it, yes it delivers more power but it does not have buck circuitry. Hana Modz are $250 so that fails your half the price of a Provari argument, try again please.

never ever once said the hana modz are cheaper, just better IMO and actually worth the cost, which IMO the provari is not

read all my post. it was a mistake saying the mvp and vtr have the same chip i agree on that point and the frequency issue? i dont see how it matters all that much tho
Way to man up and admit your mistake, after it was pointed out to you.

Read all of my post. I said not everyone can tell the difference between the different PWM frequency outputs. It doesn't matter to you because you've yet to tell the difference. I can. That doesn't mean I think you are somehow inferior because you can't, or that I am superior because I can. The fact is many CAN tell the difference, and that is why PBusardo goes to the trouble to post that information in his reviews. He "gets it".

You don't hang out in the Provari forums like I do. When new Provari owners describe their initial thoughts of their new mod, inevitably the comment of it's vape being so "smooth" is described. This happens time and time again. It doesn't matter what topper they have on the Provari. I don't read this comment in the Vamo, ZMax, VTR, or specific mod threads from new owners. There must be something to it.

ok i said idk why the frequency matters not whether i like it or not. AGAIN the provari has better support and a better warranty, both of which i have said numerous times. the accuracy might be better, but you can't notice. That is a FACT not a subjective statement. if you can somehow measure the small degree in temperature of the vapor with your mouth you're a GOD. the flat signal means nothing but a barely audible buzz which isn't as loud as any atty i use(the atty sound drowns out the buzz unless held to my ear, which is not how anyone vapes) another FACT. The build standards are however a SUBJECTIVE opinion. i think the VTR is built like a tank, you think the provari is.

Your facts not mine. My facts are quite different cause I can taste the difference.

Does not change the fact that the input voltage is what is adjusted or the fact that the provari is the most accurate vv mod on the market

anyone who owns such an expensive device is definitely biased toward it or they wouldn't have bought it..the vape being smooth is so much more to do with the topper than the mod, although the mod does affect this to a degree.
so to someone who apparently cant tell the difference in PWM frequency please tell me how it matters at all.

If you can't tell the difference then that's your experience, it doesn't make it everybody's experience. I agree that the topper is a greater contribution to taste.

do a blindfold test with people who do not know what you are trying to prove and prove me wrong that the difference is noticeable

over my head? When im dead and burried maybe. Just off the top of my head my VTR is better than 2 of my friends provaris in my AND their opinion and is half the cost. I think the LAVA tube is very comparable in terms of vaping but again is much cheaper. Just two off the top of my head.

Both devices listed here don't come close to the PWM of the Provari, and I have owned multiple Lavatubes (3 original lavatubes from Volcano, 2 Young June lavatubes, and 3 Lavatube V2 from Volcano) and they don't come close to a Provari IMHO. Because of the difference in the PWM I can tell a difference in vape quality, the Provari is just smoother IMO, but you have your opinion and I have mine, to each his own.

never said it did. only said this added accuracy is not necessary, noticeable or worth the cost.

That again is your opinion, but is obviously not everyone's opinion or the provari would have ridden off into the sunset by now.

please explain this difference in PWM and how it affects anything.

? people are still racists and that theory of eugenics was proven wrong.
just because something is still around doesn't mean it should be.
