just want to stick my muzzle in here at add my :2c:
First; a hardy welcome to the forum!! glad to see you aboard.
Second and my thoughts on the smotech mega dual coil cart. Personally i started using it with a genuine ego battery that was 650mAh. I had put in Almond Amaretto from Flavour Crafters (you need to sign up to view what they have). I can tell you that literally over night i went from smoking 2 packs a day to having 4 analogues (proof they work right there :p) I really did not have a problem with them at all, and seriously once filled lasted me about twelve hours (or longer)
but...............
I started using it with the ego pass through battery (1100mAh), and i seem to be having issues left right and center. First off i noticed that the throat hit is not as satisfying, the flavor drops out at about the 2 hour mark if not the 1 1/2 hour mark. Some times the vapor production seems to drop too. Another i noticed while using the pass through is that the cart tends to get really warm (as in dang hot) So i am not sure if i need to fill it to the top of the cart or only as high as the poly fill.........

So i would have to say if you are getting a 650mAh battery in your kit you will be fine. but then again this is my experience and two cents worth. Your experience will be more then different, and who knows you may have a 1,000 better experience (which i am sure you will)

EDIT
I think i solved the use issue. It would seem that even if you get a carry case, you cannot lay it down on it's side what so ever. Not sure if this is true or not, but it is something i just noticed. I will let it sit for about a hour or some and let you know

I just got some smoktech cartos.I had never bought this brand before and I havve to say I'm pretty impressed with them. Just my two cents.:2c:

What type of batt are you using them on? If it is the 650mAh then yes from my experience again I would more then agree........on the 1150mAh pass through my experience so far is less then stellar :(

Hey 12step, welcome to the forum. Sorry & glad your having health issues with smoking, if that's what it takes to get off the cancer stix, it's a good thing.

I personally use lots of SmokTeck product, and really like them. :D

It's kind of tough being a leader of getting off the analogs in the music industry I'd think, but hey, nothing wrong with being a leader :D. Just make sure you get nic juice strong enough to keep you satisfied. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

If you don't mind, keep me posted on how it goes for you. I have two young peeps that have tugged on my heart strings, that smoke & are also musically inclined, my Nephew and my God Daughter. I would love nothing more than get them onto ecigs. Any help from you would be sooo appreciated :D

Thanks and good luck

They've been good at turning out quality products for many years. I learned long ago when I was more into the manufacturing end of things, that 90% of the reputation of shoddy quality wasn't the fault of the Chinese manufacturers. It was the fault of the American designers and especially the bean counters. You want good quality? They'll make it to your specs and it'll be good quality. You want cheap? They'll do that too, but it'll be shoddy and they don't care. The Chinese manufacturers aren't going to argue with you about it. They aren't going to say "but that was such a good washing machine in 1979. Why do you want us to turn it into a piece of junk?". That's what you specified, so that's what you'll get.

So it's no surprise that when they started designing their own stuff, they weren't geared up to do high quality. But, thanks mostly to the Europeans, they've learned how to make things better than the Americans always demanded. It's just taking them awhile to re-orient themselves.

Well said.
I used to be involved with furniture and you can get some awesome stuff if you wanna pay for it, and if you want cheap, they're great at that too.

High quality, fast manufacture, low cost. Pick two, you can't have all three.

I use 1.5 ohm smoketech xl dual cartos once in a while with 1000 mah batteries. I like that they last quite a bit longer between refills than a typical Boge 2.0, due to larger size and a less dense fill, but they also fall apart on me waaaayyy faster. The build quality seems to be a little lower. The less dense fill is more absorbant, but quickly pulls away from the walls of the tube. Out of two five packs, I've only had two cartos last long enough to need to be boiled. Ive only had a few boges die so far, and they were after many boilings and one of them I was yanking on the fill trying to reset it after I pressed it down using a blunt needle (which is why I only use beveled for filling now).

The smoketech dual 1.5s vape ok on my egos, but I don't have any of the lower mah models and I'm not sure if they are pushing 3.4 volts like the big ones do (Is that correct? I don't have a working meter atm, but it feels like it hits about what my lavatube does around there. Maybe closer to 3.2).
