Yeah until they follow it up with this.

E-cigarettes should be banned for minors: US heart association

I think every rational adult would agree that these were not intended for minors. That's fine, laudable actually.

It's when they go on to bash the FDA for being to restrained with their proposed regulations and demanding more action, that I just don't get it.
The AHA as well as other medical associations have supported vaping in the past as a healthier alternative to smoking.
It's almost like they don't communicate internally.

Encouraging.

However dig deeper and read the section Slowing Sales

This illustrates that the AHA, as well as financial analysts classify electronic cigarettes (read: cig-a-likes) as different from "generic vaporizers" (read: everything else we use to vape.)

Based on the FDA deeming regs this is where the battle line will be drawn.

The AHA was, and still is on the sidelines. They were never really against it -- nor did they advocate e-cig use. Now if the ALA (American Lung Association) changed their tune I'm be impressed. The ALA wants you to smoke, without cigarettes their "association" would be pointless. They are evil and in bed with big pharma and big tobacco, too much donation money going around for them to ever change their tune.

Reguardless this is still good news, the more positive press the better! :)
