Wow! Even a few analogs a day is too much now.

I've been having a rought time with PV's lately. Passthroughs with buttons that fall off, atomizers that die within hours of opening the package, batteries with buttons that get buried into the casing, bad juice, etc, etc, etc.

But, I'm new at this so I write it off as growing pains.

At the same time, there is a price to be paid for these difficulties. And that price is sneaking a few analogs. No biggie, I thought. I could tell that my desire to smoke isn't there as much as it is a need to fix the nic fit fast while I deal with vaping problems.

Except that I've also noticed a lot of tightness in my chest lately. Except on days when I don't burn an analog.

This is good news for the most part. It means I will no long be sneaking a Marb Special Blend (my favorite analog when I "quit"). The bad news is my temper, balance, dexterity and cognivtive abilities all suffer when when I don't feed my nic fit post haste.

I know this will go away soon, and I suppose if I cut my juice strength back to around 24-30 (I'm at 38-40 now) that will help. But, I always said that analogs were insidious little buggers. If it ever got to the point that I got sick immeadiately after lighting up, I would quit right then and there.

I think I just filled that prerequisite.

Until I found my Vape (device, strength and flavor) of choice, giving up cigarettes was still a little difficult. Many of us have turned to snus to help curb that craving. I suggest taking a look at the Smokeless Tobacco subforum! The more tools we have, the more successful we will be!

I've tried snus. I got really, really sick off of them...but those were Marb and Camel snus. I've trial pack of Swedish Snus on the way. We will see how those go.

Thank you for the encouraging words, Mary. It's not like I don't want to quit, which for me is huge. I almost never wanted to quit. But vaping is so much more pleasurable than smoking, I can't fathom ever wanting to go back to analogs.

They may be more convenient. But that's like trying to justify drinking an ice cold glass of Drano because you're out of Pepsi.
