Wow, love e-cigs

Haven't smoked an analog in over 36 hours. Purchased a Gold Vapor at a local smoke shop, works great, but carts suck. Ordered the blucigs, took a couple of hours to break in the atomizers, but they work fairly well now. i do wish they produced a better throat hit and more vapor, but they are pretty nice.

Ordered the joye 510 and should have it soon. I figure I can't have to many as I never want an excuse to buy cigarettes again.

i also bought a smoke juice sample pack from Johnson Creek and have been expiramenting all day. Why would anyone ever smoke again, when you can customize the experience and truly enjoy smoking (vaping). I love the sample pack and will be loading my own cartidges from here on.

If you aren't sure what to do or buy, just do research on line. I have learned so much over the past week and as a result I have a great new hobby.

I can't express how great this is. lost over thirty five pounds in the last eight months, down to one blood pressure pill, my colesterol is down to 100 from 220. Old retired Air Force cop got fat. i decided to get my self healthy again, but couldn't quit smoking. Doc told me to just reduce the risk rather than quit and suggested the e-cigs.

Not only am I feeling better, but I have a new hobby. My step son will be switching over soon and several older folks at work that should have quit years ago are asking a lot of questions.

i don't care if I am an addict, smoking(vaping) is as much a part of me as breathing is and I don't want to quit, now I can say I truly enjoy the experience.

I stocked up on KR808's and juice but my new toy is the eGo. I saw it a few months ago but was a bit shocked by the price. I had the money and figured what the hell. I am really happy I did. The draw is smooth and I can really taste the flavors. I like vaping too. I live in Minnesota and look forward to sitting on my couch and enjoying a smoke instead of going out side and freezing this winter. At work I can always find some where to relax and vap....all is well

Awesome on your health achievements too Rob! And your Doc recommended the PV? /faints I wish these docs would stick it to the AMA over these things, my own Doc is approving, as are many docs of people on the forum.

Wow, you're one of very few people that have been turned onto e cigs by a doctor. Maybe cuz all of those cessation devices (gum/patches that don't work) aren't prescription! Congratulations on your success and keep up with it, its nice having a habit that is a hobby in itself, as opposed to a habit that can keep you from your hobbies (i'mma salsa dancer and no one likes to dance with an ash tray)

Congrats, Robcope and welcome to the forum! In 36 hours you have probably encountered most of your habitual smoke triggers, so you are doing great.

I am very excited to hear that your doctor recommended an e-cig. We have had a number of members show doctors their ecig and get good feedback, but this is the first that I've heard of an actual recommendation. Great news!

My congrats Robcope. It's great that a doctor recommended the ecig. Sounds like you're covering all the bases on getting healthy. That's super that you are already spreading the word. I have personally seen people that smoked analogs for over 50 years switch to vaping. Keep on vaping.

The wheezing is substantially less and I am really starting to taste the flavors of the smoke juice. Just hoping I get my Joye 510 today. My blu Cigs are working ok, but can't wait to get some real vapor production. The Blu Cigs will be for the office because everything can be stored in the case, which is the best part of the system. Can anyone recommend a PCC for the Joye 510?

You can improve the performance of the Blu by taking out the polyfill that's in the inner cart and replace it with MarineLand Rite Size U blue foam. Cut a piece slightly longer and wider than the cart, fill the cart about 3/4 full, stuff in the foam, and top the cart off just enough to make the top of the foam slushy. The blue foam wicks much better than the polyfill on those little carts and you can get much better tasting juices than what comes in those carts.

Thanks, i ordered the 510 from strictlyejuice and ordered some of thier blue foam as well. We should know by next week. I am pretty happy with the blu. i have discovered that the pcc doesn't really charge the battery all the way, but will keep it going well enough for trips.

Are you talking the marineland foam used in fish tank filters?

I use an 808 adapter on both my EGO, and Super Tornado (Ego-xl) I like the 808 cartomizers better than fooling with atomizers.

I have been a 3 pack a day smoker for several years and have been smoking for 47 years. I started the ecig on June 28 but due to the misleading info on the prefilled carts I did not order any extra juice because of money issues. I wanted to be sure this would work for me before I spent too much. Well, it worked great but I ran out in 2 days so I went back on analogs for 4 days while waiting for my juice order. I went back on the juice on July 2. I use the 510 and received my PT and cartomizer yesterday. I have not had an analog for 2 days and do not crave one. I have reached for my analogs a few times but from habit, not from craving. I think I have finally found the only thing that can keep me away from analogs!!! My husband still smokes, and so do my three children, but it doesn't make me crave an analog when they are smoking!!!! My husband has decided he wants to try this too. I think this is a wonderful product!!!! Just my 2 cents worth.

As for the pcc or passthrough. I can recommend a couple of Ego batteries instead.
You wont need a pcc or a passthrough. One will last you all day and charges in 1 1/5 hours with the fast charger. Works with your 510 parts too.

Yes, thats the stuff. I use a similar PV as my second (or third or fourth, depending on the day) and am really happy with it. Fixing the carts with the blue foam made a world of difference in them for me.

It's awesome that a doc clued you in. I've told a few Dr's about PVs in the last few days. My wife's Dr even made a photocopy of my PV and carts.

I just wish there was more info around about e-cigs. I've seen ads everywhere, but not any really good pros/cons informational sites. Does anyone have any recommendations?
